Player2,

That’s just the total message limit for one chat

Player2,

I was watching some of the behind the scenes extras and it’s incredible just how many tiny references they put into every scene. Clearly a lot of care has gone into it

Is there a Spotify alternative that has no ads?

I pay for Spotify for 7 years or so now and i'm so sick of all the ads. After every update there seems to be an: oops, sorry, you have ads now. Podcasts are filled with ads. I was just listening to a podcast where they shoved in 3 ads mid-sentence. How long until musicians put ads in their songs. I'm just so sick of it.

Player2,

Spotify patcher to spoof premium features

Player2,

I have jellyfin set up just for myself and those solutions just didn’t seem necessary to me. I simply pull and seed manually from my desktop and transfer the files to the server over the network. Easy enough 🤷

Player2,

I guess that can be easier for some. Personally I kind of like looking for file sources myself, I’m somewhat particular about the quality I’m looking for. It’s probably also easier to manually handle edge cases, for example recently I found a TV show that came with all the extras such as the soundtrack along with the show itself, and I wanted those to end up in separate places.

Player2,

After you’ve done it once it’s much easier. You basically download whatever new APK the revanced manager suggests and follow the steps in the manager to select the patches you want.

Player2,

In some savory dishes like tomato sauce for example you add a little bit of sugar to reduce bitterness and just make the flavors more balanced. Also, most anything tastes better if you add just a little bit of salt in at some point of the cooking process.

Doesn’t mean I’m going to sprinkle sea salt on top of my pecan pie though…

Player2,

No need to feel sorry! I like both sweet and savory, just not at the same time 👍

Player2,

Absolutely, this is a personal thing. I’ve found myself not buying things that are incompatible with the machine as much as possible so I don’t really have that issue

Player2,

I live alone and cook one time per day. Dishes takes me like 2 minutes since I just shove everything in the machine and come back two hours later not just to everything being clean, but also heat sanitized. The only things you can’t put in there are knives, as well as nonstick and wooden items. I would personally hate cooking if I had to scrub every item by hand afterwards…

Player2,

I think the film was fine, nothing too special. I don’t really feel the urge to watch it again to see what I missed, though I will probably watch analysis videos made about it. Wish it was scarier, I enjoyed the part where they killed the invaders, even if it was a bit cheesy. Could have used more violence in that form, or at least some sense of dread while Mike was sleeping. I found myself not really caring if that makes sense.

Not a huge fan of the fort building scene either. Didn’t really expect to see goofy animatronic construction simulator.

Overall, watch if you’re a fan. Not really a horror film though.

Player2,

Rinsing the pasta is fine for making a cold pasta salad or something like that, removing the free starch stops it from sticking. But for a dish with sauce, definitely don’t rinse.

Player2,

For fresh pasta yes, dried you don’t need as much salt

Player2,

I think more disgusting would be if they collected it in a little cup and drank it

Player2,

Plus have to consider that a child more likely than not isn’t interested in being your in home caretaker for many years straight, not to mention potentially not being qualified for it (so you would need some sort of actual caretaker anyway).

Player2,

I’m glad there are positive changes, and obviously those are most effective in healthcare situations.

However, from my personal experience as a university student in Canada, everything is the same if not worse than before. Hand sanitizer stations have been removed or simply not refilled, people straight up refuse to wear masks even when they’re sick. A week or two ago in class, I saw many people literally sneeze into their hands and then wipe the snot on their chairs (and these are supposed to be engineering students!). There is still no ventilation or even filtration in any of our classrooms.

Not only is personal protective equipment not used by almost anyone, its use is actively stigmatized by many, including professors at school. To me this is completely ridiculous, but unfortunately reality.

Player2,

It’s obviously AI, but actually looks pretty good. Must have taken quite a few iterations

Player2,

It’s called a heat wave and it’s not normal for them to be ‘normal’
