Pulptastic,

I am excited to figure out how to solo this.

Pulptastic,

You have to specify radians fahrenheit for that so we don’t confuse it with radians Celsius and blacken the thing.

Pulptastic,

I did read the article. I am commenting that I have never encountered strong juxtaposition and sharing why I think it is a poor choice.

Pulptastic,

The one paragraph on “what makes spices warm” seems to be the only relevant part.

Pulptastic,

I miss Jones Juice Dave - green tea with hemp, ginseng, and royal jelly. I can still taste it, feel the jar with the metal cap.

I had a predecessor of that (Samsung dual flip but no e ink buttons) that I lost while drunk. So I got the new iPhone 3g to replace it.https://clublexus.com/…/114261d1194963393-sams…

I had this one shortly before that: forums.macrumors.com/proxy.php?image=http:%2F%2Fn…

Pulptastic,

I am not a watch guy but I love the data I get from my Garmin so I wear it pretty much 24/7

Pulptastic,

Depends. I drive a hybrid and live on top of a hill so my routine is set up to try and keep the engine off until I hit flat land and go above 30 mph. Typically that means plug in and set up my phone, buckle in, turn car in, and slowly cruise out of there with no delay. I don’t really want the engine warming up until it actually needs to run.

Pulptastic,

Where did you get anti dustmite sheets? I looked a few years back and all I could find were $200 medical covers that were basically plastic bags and 1000 different ones on Amazon with 1* durability reviews. I would love to have a “legit” source and maybe some info on expectations.

Pulptastic,

I wish it was that easy. Flonase did nothing for me other than cause my nose to bleed. Azelastine helped some though and that makes sense for me, my congestion is likely caused by dust mite allergy.

Affrin is amazing for what it is. A few weeks ago I had a sinus headache so bad I threw up. Affrin cleared it up in 30 seconds, and I was able to maintain it without affrin after that.

Pulptastic,

Presumably you could meet the boundary with “a dollah fifty in late fees at the public library” and find a way to push through from there. You’d have to find a way to publish or share your new knowledge. Studying at uni gives you access to experts in their own thing that likely have knowledge that could help you with your thing as well as a system designed to churn out these papers when you eventually find your thing.

Every day people discover new things but it takes attention, effort, and will to PROVE it’s a new thing and more yet to share that with the world. Too bad you can’t get an honorary PhD for doing that, at least not reliably.

What modes of transport do you really like?

For me personally, trams are right up there. Aside from the main issue of sharing the roads instead of having a dedicated line, they really make it easy to get from one part of a city to another, especially for wheelchair users. They’re usually as frequent as buses, but much faster. The stations are much more attractive...

Pulptastic,

That was a surprisingly good book. Lots of ideas for public policy and guerilla climate strategy.

Pulptastic,

That’s the story of adaptations most of the time.

I read the book first and enjoyed the movie enough to buy it.

Pulptastic,

My friend pet the dash of his car every time the transmission hesitated. That spot of the dash swelled and popped up in that spot after a year or two because of the finger oils.

Why wasn't NYC's Central Park concept copied by other cities?

I’m talking about a massive park in the absolute heart of the city. Located such that is naturally surrounded by city high rises. *People are giving examples of parks that are way off in the boonies. I’m trying to say located centrally, heart of the city, you know where the high rises are. Yes I understand nyc has more, the...

Pulptastic,

Louisville has Cherokee park that was designed by Olmsted, same dude as Central Park.

When I lived there I loved to go dirt trail running in the middle of the city.

I love it. I was a fat kid, lost a ton of weight at 30. Got really into biking which gave me strong legs but made me look like an alien. So I started lifting weights to balance that out (and improve my biking). I also started running without any break-in period because my bike fitness carried over to running well enough.

Now I love all three sports for their own sake. I have gone through phases focusing on each one and have developed training methodologies for each. I especially love biking in the summer, lifting in fall and spring, and running in the snow.

The key as I understand it is to set goals and start small, work your way into it. Also go slower on cardio; learn what zone 2 is and spend 80% of your time there. It is better to be slow and enjoy it than go too fast, burn out, and suffer.

Lifting weights feels like a routine. As someone else said, there is purity on watching your body work, looking at your form, and pushing for PRs. I highly recommend Wendel’s 5-3-1 program.

Biking is very freeing, you can go anywhere with enough time. Very calming, in your head time.

Running is shorter and more intense, even at an easy pace I don’t usually want to go more than an hour. But it also feels good for the rest of the day, and there is something charming about getting all sweaty from doing awesome things.
