  • Raxiel,

Still Reddit tbh, there are a few content creators I follow. Although worse than Spez’ fuckery was imgur wiping out a lot of archived content.

    Raxiel,

I guess that’s also why people started having turkey for big family gatherings even through chicken tastes better.

Now a chicken is perfectly adequate for a family of four, or even six depending on the trimmings.

    Raxiel,

I stopped watching after the “speed of electricity in a wire” video. When I realised a video about something I knew about was bollocks, it made me question every other video that taught me about something I didn’t know.
Even if that had been a one off, how would I know? The trust is gone.

    Raxiel,

Without getting into it too deeply the way he conflates induction and conductivity just to set up some kind of gotcha.

    Raxiel,

Imagine not being able to jerk off your instrument

    Raxiel,

When my eldest was four she had a hundred kids, the eldest of whom was 1 million years old.

    And also a cat.

    Raxiel,

They’ve existed in at least two centuries

    Raxiel,

Nor did the Nexus 5x that followed it. I’m not sure about the first Pixel, but the Pixel 2 had AMOLED and mines still going strong, no burn in or screen issues of any kind, even despite me prying it off a couple of times to replace both the battery and usb port.

    Raxiel,

I’ve had the same OLED screen daily driver since the first week of 2018, no burn in or any other problems.
    They’re not all bad.

    Raxiel,

Or dads who refuse to change infants in their care because “peedo”

    Raxiel,

Don’t worry about the sun expanding to swallow earth! It will gradually get hotter as the core uses fuel and contracts, rendering earth uninhabitable within just 1b years (if we don’t beat it to the punch)

    Raxiel,

Jesse, what the fuck are you talking about?

    Raxiel,

Hold a particle in your hand first, then your dick. The relative difference will make your dick seem at least ten times bigger!

    Raxiel,

What will his boss say if he checks his pockets at the end of the day and discovers all that lava he took already?

    Raxiel,

As a kid, Tremors, Aliens, and Police Academy 4. Those were films we had on VHS (recorded from the TV). The first two were on the same 4h cassette, recorded in glorious long play mode and the write protection tab broken out for safety.

More than a dozen watches for each of those.

As an adult, there’s a few had multiple watches. No idea what’s the “most” but the ones that stick out are: Charlie’s Angels - the mid 2000’s one with Drew Barrymore, Cameron Diaz and Lucy Lu. Blade 2 The fast and the Furious The terminator Kill Bill

What's the point of buying new phones every years?

Other than your carrier give it for free or cheap, I don’t really see the reason why should you buy new phone. I’ve been using Redmi Note 9 for past 3 years and recently got my had on Poco F5. I don’t see the point of my ‘upgrade’. I sold it and come back to my Note 9. Gaming? Most of them are p2w or microtransaction...

    Raxiel,

I have a Pixel 2 I picked up in 2018, a few months after they were released (my previous Nexus 5x got the bootloops).

I held off upgrading due to the free original quality Google photos. When that ran out, I did follow new releases, and found the features appealing, but then I’d see the ever inflating prices and couldn’t justify spending so much to replace a device that still works fine.

And it does still work. Granted, it’s had a new battery and a couple of charging ports (I’ve gotten a lot bolder with cleaning the ports now, don’t expect it to need a 4th any time soon). I’m fortunate to be capable of making those repairs myself, I’d have probably given in and bought an A model otherwise. For now though, I just have to say, maybe next year.

    Raxiel,

My Employer provides me with an iPhone for work use, primarily for remote access.

I was enthusiastic about getting it, as a long time time android user I wanted to see what all the fuss was about, but having interacted with it frequently I really don’t get why people like it so much.
