2013 is when everything started to turn into shit for me. But even then, it was still a very unique year, and every year in the rest of the decade still felt pretty cool to experience despite being different flavors of hell.

And then the 2020s happened. Everything basically turned into a monotone greyscale life with even the slightest hint of smiles sucked out of my life.

I guess that sorta makes sense.

The fact that we aren’t allowed to celebrate it in my country. It’s seen as unimportant. In fact, we don’t ever have Christmas breaks. I saw school buses packed with students heading to class today (and yesterday too), some are even taking exams. Radio stations play absolutely no Christmas music. Nothing in the country is decorated for Christmas. Life goes on as usual as if Christmas doesn’t exist.

This video by Gari Sullivan perfectly explains how life is for us. Yes, it’s 2 years old already, but I doubt that it’s that irrelevant.

You’re already using social media, the only difference is that you’re in the fediverse, not the metaverse.

The room smells like data now. I can’t breathe that stuff in.

Christmas takes place all year long now.

The discography of this guy.

If you’ve ever played Incredibox, you most likely know him as the composer of that game’s music.

Ending support for Windows 10 could send 240 million computers to the landfill. Why not install Linux on them? (gadgettendency.com)

With support ending for Windows 10, the most popular desktop operating system in the world currently, possibly 240 million pcs may be sent to the landfill. This is mostly due to Windows 11’s exorbitant requirements. This will most likely result in many pcs being immediately outdated, and prone to viruses. GNU/Linux may be...

Windows 7 is even older and already out of support for almost 4 years now. Why would you downgrade?

Only Linux makes sense in this case.

The trains can fly… only to literally crash at the destination’s train station. Somehow, everyone miraculously survives every single time.

That actually sounded way more terrorist than I wanted it to.

His name is Koffing because the way that guy is holding him makes him look like he’s actually coughing.

I imagine myself completely exploding after about a week of not shitting. It’s still gonna make a shitty mess everywhere.

Didn’t you already reply with a comment similar to this?

Looking at my comment history, I noticed that this ended up happening to some of my comments too.

It’s good for those that want it, but some would rather just having a completely new user experience.

As someone who hates Windows with a passion, once everyone recommend Linux Mint, I knew I had to try it.

I immediately had negative first impressions. I simply don’t wanna use something with a desktop environment that reminds me of something that I hate. I get that it makes transitioning a lot easier for many, but for me it simply looks too similar to Windows.

I remember seeing memes about this all the time.

That really is a lot to learn and get used to.

I wish I knew about this sooner.
