They’ve got bugs that can shoot spaceships out of orbit with their butts. I don’t think it’s unreasonable to think they could knock an asteroid out of orbit.

Though considering your username it might be you dropping the rocks.

Their giant brain bug might have found a way to use eggs launched to knock them through hyperspace used by humans.

Mine makes yogurt from milk and yogurt.

    It’s a perpetual yogurt machine.

    And it makes chili!

I mean, the Garfield movie did just come out so there’s gonna be demand.

Plus it’s a good holiday meal you can keep in the freezer and reheat when you have company.

I used to download those exes to my G4 and open them with Resedit to try to figure out how they worked and extract some strings.

There weren't enough Mac users to make it worth making executables like that.

Remember the "virus" that put Oscar the Grouch in the trash can? I loved that one.

Only time I actually got a virus on my Mac was from a MacAddict CD.

I like how they wanted a Scottish engineer so they named him Argyle like the socks

If I print up an invoice for the time I've spent blocking all their tracking cookies, do you think I could take it to small claims court? It's gotta be at least a couple hundred bucks worth of labor at this point.

While it's true that Hamas was elected, half of the people living in Gaza aren't old enough to vote and there hasn't been an election since 2006.

We have two ruling bodies who have a vested interest in continued conflict and not representative of their constituents.

It means I'm gonna block you, for one.

    Bye troll.

Favourite FOSS Torrenting Client for Linux that has a VPN killswitch?

I’m a long-time Transmission user but I just learned that VPN killswitches are a thing (how did it take me so long!?). I would like to try another client which has this feature in case I forget to launch my VPN client before opening Transmission. Does anybody have any recommendations? Deluge? QBittorrent? Or any others?...

I use this Docker image of Transmission that has a built-in VPN configuration. That way only the torrent traffic goes over the VPN and it starts automatically.

Usenet is okay but there's some stuff I can only find on torrents

    Semi-Hemi-Demigod,
    @Semi-Hemi-Demigod@kbin.social avatar

Yeah, the stuff I can't find on Usenet is usually old and very obscure. Anime, without the right usenet subs, is particularly hard to find.

He also taught me that going with the flow of traffic was safer than rigidly adhering to the speed limit.

My high school driving instructor gave me the tip that if I'm within the solid lines at the intersection and going at least the speed limit I can probably make it.

Back in the 90s Apple was going to die, so they decided to allow people to make Mac clones like you could make PC clones. After about a year they stopped that because the clone makers were running them out of business.
