In my opinion in 100 years it will be viewed as genital mutilation as it's done to children without consent for basically no reason at all. But by then it will be purely an elective surgery adults get so they feel their dick looks prettier, so whatever.

Pretty far from the biggest problem of our age. Maybe don't stress about it.

It's a suspicion based on the second point and that our brains naturally want to dream to rehash our day for memory purposes, particularly during REM, though of course there are other types of dreams & timing too. But the mid term memory storage stops working the same.

Directly seizing I don't think would end well. I think it's one of the short comings of communism.

Encouraging employee owned companies is where it's at. But to be honest I'm not sure how you would incentivize that.

Sorry to hear you didn't like it! I rather enjoy Hoid/Wit's perspective but maybe that's because I knew him before I read Tress?

Edit: If you do not care for Sanderson's humor avoid Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians, it relies on it heavily!
