I’m to young for. feature phones. although my first phone was a wonderful 2010 HTC desire brown a high-end phone in its heyday with 576mb of ram and a 3.7 touchscreen and like with most older android smartphones this had an user replaceable battery headphone jack and are easy to root… They don’t make erm like they use to

Same here 256gb ssd owner ill prefer to get something a little bit bigger but I also have a secondary hdd though to store all my files on which makes everything all good

I’m not sure about the vaccines as we’re entering Alex Jones territory there that’s not really my place to comment on

but i can say the potential hillbilly has a point in my opinion the covid 19 mandates were poorly miss-managed almost everywhere across the globe. Lots of mom and pop shops had to close doors even some bigger businesses which created alot of job loses and lots of people were affected financially people whom struggled to put food on the table buy petrol pay for the leccy and keep a roof on there head. All this over poorly managed goverments and bureaucrats across the world and on top of this you got governments telling you what todo and if you didn’t follow through with the governments demands you could land your self a heafty fine and some prison time. I can see why people may be starting to get pissed off

I was on the nyc subway when this happened. I was chilling browsing the Web when one my homies hit me up on discord and sent me a gif of a big musslely black man doing the thugshaker I then began to start furiously mastrobating to the picture of the big mussley blackman doing the thugshaker people started looking at me and saying things such as omg and stop it I then in a haste dropped my phone and one by one all the other men in the train started to furiously mastrobate too. My peenis was but a little stub at this point.by the end the entire train was filled with mastrobating men all hovered over one phone playing a gif of a man doing the thugshaker. Be warned @I’m back on my bs you may suffer the same fate to if your not careful

This is an perfect example of the empty room fallacy also a pretty funny meme as well

Essentially the empty room fallacy is where you can’t use any public social media platforms or say these things in public but you can say these things in a empty room. Is that still free speech. No that’s absurd. The purpose of speech is to be able to communicate share ideas common interests to talk to one and another and to be able to challenge political ideas in a open and free manor and you can’t do that on lemmyml. Not unless you want a 14 day ban for thought crime

Ideally we would want to sway away from what lemmy ml is doing even if that involves defederating

A life of misery onto the child

You know that just because the kid might have a chance to develop mental disabilities doesn’t mean the child is going to have a life of ‘‘misery’’ the child might be able to live a full life, the child might require a bit of support or might require alot of support depending on the severity of the child’s mental disabilities

Plus who the fuck are you to decide whenever a life is worth living or not. This decision in this very specific situation should be upto both the parents and doctors
