So… again… you have no sources other than what you think? Either offer sources that back up your claims or stop making comments that are immediately proven false.
I also did believe that they could because I misread something. That’s on me and has been edited. Next time I would also recommend trying to correct someone by acting like an adult instead of whatever this behavior is. Sorry about the mistake but you really could have addressed that with a very different attitude.
Lastly, the actual issue is a misrepresentation on how much lost revenue Nintendo gained from this man. Piracy is a factor. It is not the driving force.
Honestly given all the shit I’ve been dealing with the past couple of weeks, yeah. If a disembodied flaming skull appeared at this point I’d just be like “sigh alright. What now?”
I sort of forgot I made that comment. Thanks for the reminder. Have deleted.
I’m not looking to cause drama here in any way whatsoever. I’m not looking to upset people or cause confusion or anything. I stand by what I said in the welcome post on /c/TenForward. We just have a different moderation philosophy than Risa and wanted to go about making the community in a different fashion.
Because it’s insanely inconsiderate and extremely egotistical. You aren’t the only person in the world. We’re both watching the movie and we’re both equally as confused. When you ask those questions what you’re doing is interrupting the movie for someone else to demand an explanation for yourself. An explanation you will not get as, again, both of us are confused. Other people are watching the movie too. Interrupting it to try and get answers for yourself is some narcissistic behavior, especially when you’re in a movie theater with shitloads of other people around you.
Moreover, during the middle of the movie is not the place to have a discussion. People are trying to watch it and enjoy it, not listen to some breakdown about the events so far. If you want to have those discussions then keep it for after the movie when attention can be properly given to the discussion, not a half whispered response in a tone of “Dude, can you shut up?”
Star Trek directed by someone who doesn’t like Star Trek. There were a lot of people on those movies who really loved Star Trek and it showed through. They’re not the best, that’s for sure, but I still like them for what they are. However I will say that Beyond is definitely my favorite. Might have something to do with JJ not directing it at all and it feeling like an interesting mix of a TOS episode and Kelvin timeline action/adventure.
