Subverb,

I’m 59 and technically a Boomer so… You know I’m out of the loop.

Subverb, (edited )

Yes, I only learned I was born in the last year for boomers a couple of ears ago. I was pretty shocked.

I use this as my reference. .

I was born in October of '64. Tippy tail of the Boomers.

Subverb,

I do hate the new web based experience though. The executable client is very good.

Subverb,

Hey, just so you know, “no one” is two words.

Subverb,

I run a small business, but I’m also I’m an embedded systems developer on ARM processors for my products. Our toolchain is Windows-specific. That and the Adobe suite which I also need for my business keep my primary work machine Windows.

My laptop is Linux but even that creates occasional hassles with my work flow and presentations.

Subverb,

Worse: Mickey Rooney as a Japanese man in Breakfast at Tiffany’s

As bad: John Wayne as Genghis Khan in The Conqueror

Subverb,

Oh I agree. Fun movie and character though.

No worse than a Russian submarine captain with a Scottish accent though. 🤣

Subverb,

I was born in Southern Arkansas and have lived in Tulsa, Oklahoma for 40 years. I consider myself a Southerner, not a Midwesterner. But that’s self-reported.

The joke here goes “You know why Texas doesn’t slide off into the Gulf of Mexico? Because Oklahoma sucks so hard.”

But truth be told, Tulsa is a pretty nice place to live. About half a million people and fairly progressive for a “Southern” state. And while many of the the hardcore conservatives moved to Texas, you still see a lot of Trump flags here.

Subverb,

I have a 1964 Lincoln Continental convertible. Cars can appreciate, I assure you.

Subverb,

I pay for it too. Blocks ads really well.
