TheDarksteel94,

What if, and hear me out on this one, the problem isn’t which “-ism” is prevalent. The real problem is that ANY form of power or society needs checks and balances. If those are missing or not enforced, then everything goes to shit. It’s a balancing act, not just a matter of black or white.

TheDarksteel94,

Wasn’t the spear also one of the easier weapons to learn? Which is why a big part of a medieval army was made out of spear carriers?

TheDarksteel94,

Hey! I’ll have you know that the “Polka King of the Midwest” doesn’t take kindly to comments like that!

TheDarksteel94,

Looks like that alien chick from “Mars Attacks!”

TheDarksteel94,

You wouldn’t get it. Only people with a really high IQ truly understand the genious of Rick & Morty. /s

TheDarksteel94,

You don’t always need some device for sleep apnea, if it’s not a bad case. But what you’re describing doesn’t necessarily sound like that anyway.

TheDarksteel94,

Sounds pretty normal to me. At least for developed countries.

TheDarksteel94,

Lots of people do it here in Austria too, and I hate it.

TheDarksteel94,

Does anyone still remember the old, inofficial Google slogan? “Don’t be evil”…

TheDarksteel94,

It’s not just about how smooth the game looks, but also how smooth it feels to control. 30 fps is way too sluggish for me. Granted, most people would probably reach a point of diminishing return somewhere after 60 fps, unless you’re someone with the reflexes and hardware (high polling rate mouse, good frame timing on your monitor, low system lag, etc.) to back it up. I’m quite comfy between 120 to 144 fps, but there’s some absolute monsters out there who would probably find that too slow.

If it’s not a very fast moving game, like a turn based RPG, then it doesn’t matter that much, but at least 60 fps is still a must for me to not look like a slideshow.

TheDarksteel94,

Aether Realm is one of the best current melodic death metal bands and no one can convince me otherwise.

TheDarksteel94,

If Cola can clean the toilet, it can also clean me. That’s why I can smoke as much as I want. The Cola shall cleanse this vessel my soul calls home!

TheDarksteel94,

I used to play Yugioh when I just came out in my country, along with the anime. I was curious about getting back into it a few years ago, saw all the confusing bs going on, and noped tf out.

TheDarksteel94,

If that’s how your puke tastes, you should bottle and sell it.

Gamers who have gamed for a long time

do you find it difficult to get into games? I’ve got Epic Games and Steam Games libraries chock-full of classic top-tier games along with many other newer games like Stray or 2077, and a bunch of indie titles. I just can’t be bothered to download and install them, much less try to get into the characters and storylines. Used...

TheDarksteel94,

The older I get the more I know what kinda games I’m into. So everything else I try to play just feels boring very quickly. I get bored very quickly in general if I don’t keep a game fresh for myself by, for example, mixing main and side quests instead of doing just one for hours.

I’ve also had times when I didn’t play any video games at all and just watched YouTube all day. And sometimes I felt like I played games just because I didn’t have anything better to do.

At the moment, I basically just play Cyberpunk and Battlebit, because both of those offer various ways of approaching encounters.

TheDarksteel94,

TV in the US is so weird. I mean, we’ve got all of that in Europe too (on some channels), but whenever I watch American TV, everything seems to be cranked up to 11. The aggressive of your news shows, the quantity of your advertisements, the weird rules from the middle ages (no swearing or nudity on certain channels), etc.

TheDarksteel94,

Have you talked to a doctor about it? Sounds pretty weird.

TheDarksteel94,

Concerts should be as inclusive as possible. If that means people can only go if there are seats, then it’s perfectly reasonable that there should be seats.
