Gamers who have gamed for a long time

do you find it difficult to get into games? I’ve got Epic Games and Steam Games libraries chock-full of classic top-tier games along with many other newer games like Stray or 2077, and a bunch of indie titles. I just can’t be bothered to download and install them, much less try to get into the characters and storylines. Used...

TheGreenGolem,

Exactly. I know I only have like an hour tops before need to do something and it’s just not enough time to truly immerse myself so I end up not even want to start the game.
Now I’m wondering when I’ll be 50 and the kids will be gone and have time again to play 8-10 hours straight. Maybe then.

TheGreenGolem,

What if we create a thread about this thread about that discussion?

TheGreenGolem,

Yeah, I’m pretty sure I would be dead in a decade tops if I would be a millionaire.

TheGreenGolem,

A small instance of USDefaultism, but I appriciate OP’s thought.

TheGreenGolem,

Anything that breaks in the washing machine/dryer/dishwasher trifecta, doesn’t deserve to live in our house.

TheGreenGolem,

I just thought a couple of days ago that how awesome it would be if we have a LOT of colorful cars. Not just the same 4-5 always. Parking lots are fucking boring these days.

TheGreenGolem,

Friends.

I saw it a gazillion times, I think I can quote whole episodes.

TheGreenGolem,

I don’t really hate them. I have a Pixel, I use almost all of their consumer products and mostly I really like them. They are mature products with a lot of features and mostly reliable. Heck I even have Location History always turned on. It’s good on Saturday afternoons to see where the hell I was blackout drunk on Friday. Jokes aside I like to see in what countries or cities I was in 15 years ago. One exception is Chrome, which got way too big and needs some serious competition.

What bothers me is *mostly *on app level, not on corporate Google level. What I do not like on corporate level though is:

  • they kill everything I start to like (Inbox, Google Reader)
  • they cannot create a single unified message service right (see also point 1)
  • they don’t have an ad-free paid tier for Google One. Like one where you don’t see any ads in any of their products (not even sponsored links on search, no promotion in gmail, no YT ads, no nothing). I would pay serious money for it.
TheGreenGolem,

Lord of the Ring

There is just one ring. The main story is basically the same.

TheGreenGolem,

“We innovated USB-C into our phones because we listen to our customers.”

TheGreenGolem,

It was right besides the line for Ferraris for those who don’t smoke.

TheGreenGolem,

Classic Dave! I so much hate Dave and everything he stands for!

TheGreenGolem,

He is so evil that there are no words to describe it.
