UnculturedSwine,

I admire the students that are setting up book clubs for banned books. They are recognizing that they are being given a list of what they should read.

UnculturedSwine,

Keeping to a resolution requires resolve which is an emotion. You need to introspect and make sure that the resolution that you have chosen is consistent with the price you are willing to pay whether it is monetary or a personal desire. Prepare yourself for the cost. It’s easy to say you’re going to give up alcohol but your mind is going to try to sabotage you every step of the way. Keep your goals to yourself and meditate on them. Take some time out of your day to cultivate the feeling of resolve within you. Literally just remember the feeling you have when you have felt determined to finish something and cultivate that feeling. It’s a fire that burns within you that can become stronger if you feed it. Finally, don’t get discouraged when you fail. You will likely fail a lot but that doesn’t mean you should give up. Keep to your resolution even if you keep tripping up.

UnculturedSwine,

As a VIM user, I don’t want you using VIM on my system unless you know how to use it. I don’t want you borking fstab or the passwd file or some other important config because you don’t know how to quit without saving.

UnculturedSwine,

Millennial here. I’ve always found random sex scenes obnoxious. It completely kills the pacing and pulls me out of the story. If you need sex for character development, you can much more easily allude to it and move on. The only time I can think of when it actually made sense for the story was in the movie Her and it was such a mild scene that didn’t have any visuals.

UnculturedSwine,

Maybe it’s because I lucked into a career that I can be content in but I would rather be employed than unemployed even if I was able to sustain myself through my unemployment. I’m happier if I have a job from which I can derive a sense of purpose and duty. If I was a multimillionaire, I would probably either volunteer or still be working.

UnculturedSwine,

I literally work in tech configuring and troubleshooting servers all day. I wouldn’t really call it fun but it is fulfilling.

UnculturedSwine,

I’ve been doing it for 12…

UnculturedSwine,

My life be like: Adult Bad PC No money No free time

UnculturedSwine,

This was actually my pappy doing my hair growing up. That fukkn’ flowbee sucked not because it was attached to a vacuum but because my dad would constantly hit me in the head with it trying to get the correct length. He kept the blades nice and oiled tho.
