The machines would wear out faster with more usage, so using them longer each day wouldn’t help with that, but doing two shifts per day would increase productivity per machine than one shift per day. Which would also help pay off any loans for the machinery faster.

I’m biased living in a °C country, but water seems like a better choice than anything else, since water is a common element that we can easily observe its phase changes and those phase changes effect how we have to interact with it on a daily basis.

Aside from the main issue of sharing the roads instead of having a dedicated line, they really make it easy to get from one part of a city to another, especially for wheelchair users. They’re usually as frequent as buses, but much faster. The stations are much more attractive...
