Wait until you need to back it up or move the drive or something. The difference is mind boggling.

I asked the community if there were tools. And they basically said “tools to direct copy the /home folder to an external drive?..” and I was like WTFitcantjustbethateasy

Nah. No “backup” or “timeline” or “restore point” or other BS. You just back it up, reinstall, and drag it back over (you can do this LIVE even).

One restart will fix out any kinks and you’re basically good to go.

Ehh. Tell them to make a game that is actually worth $60 and I’ll consider it.

Came here to say this. It’s a silly way to look at it, but these dorks are basically saying “no, using the ‘internet’ is not going to catch on silly techies.” It’s a kind of technology, not a vehicle specific to capitalism or big funds. NFTs could be proof of ownership over anything.

Consumers want true ownership, even if it requires a kind of tokenized-receipts system.

The bloke I took it off of was in Discord. The original I stole had its watermark removed apparently. I reverse imaged searched the image and found the original artist and their tweet!

Got it working! Thank you @lichtmetzger so much. I did some looking around and found he has an all encompassing download and it got me thinking.

Do you think we could get this kind of work-around running with m0nkrus’ Full Collection? ATM the newest I can find is: Adobe Master Collection 2020 RUS-ENG v12

How did you figure out exactly what packages were needed by wine such as “vcrun2008” etc?

On Wednesday, the North Carolina state House passed a new congressional map for the Tar Heel State. Since the map had already passed the state Senate on Tuesday, it is now law. (In North Carolina, the governor has no veto power over redistricting.)

The map is an amended version of Proposal CCJ-1, the less aggressively gerrymandered of the two proposals unveiled by Republicans last week. But it is still heavily skewed toward the GOP: It creates 10 reliably Republican seats, three reliably Democratic seats and one competitive seat in a state that former President Donald Trump carried just 50 percent to 49 percent in 2020. Democratic Reps. Kathy Manning, Wiley Nickel and Jeff Jackson have now been placed in reliably red seats, meaning Republicans will almost certainly pick up three House seats as a result of this map. They could even flip a fourth, Democratic Rep. Don Davis’s 1st District, which this map makes more competitive.
