I think the word you’re looking for is “lanky”.

He was, kind of. But those first episodes with the thinner beard (he was wearing fake facial hair to make it fuller) made him look even more like a pencil.

I grew up watching MacGyver, so I remember his Han Solo-looking days.

Unfortunately, these days, he’s not so much of a fox. I just googled his more recent pictures and didn’t even recognize him.
