Just rawdoggin’ it

bionicjoey,

That’s like saying you’re too lazy to put on a condom

bionicjoey,

If you have a lot of money you can also have someone do it for you. Treat yo self!

bionicjoey,

I agree that it matters what it goes on, but the correct answer is mustard regardless.

bionicjoey,

P.S. I never use awk just for print $1 as many do. It’s an overkill.

cut is better for this use-case IMO. Awk is good for when cut won’t cut it.

What's a proper response to another dog attempting to mount your dog multiple times and the owner really not doing anything about it?

The owner kind of makes a weak attempt to seem like they’re trying, but if I weren’t there, they wouldn’t intervene at all. I’m asking because I want to make sure that I don’t over react next time.

I’m assuming OP has already asked the problem owner to stop and they are refusing to control their dog properly. Obviously talking to them comes first.

bionicjoey,

Either that or talk to other owners at the park about collectively shunning the problematic owner. It sounds harsh but I’ve seen this work and it’s preferable to giving up a beloved community hangout just because of one asshole.

bionicjoey,

Often factories want to get the maximum use out of their equipment since it’s very expensive and only lasts some finite number of years. Many factories run 24 hours a day in rotating shifts to minimize the downtime of their machinery.

bionicjoey,

He can feel and comprehend and interpret emotions just fine, he is just deadly shy and insecure behind his stoic enforcer facade.

This is basically describing autism too. We can feel emotions just fine. But expressing them is hard because we do so in a way that can sometimes be upsetting to others. So we become shy and put up a facade that hides how we feel about things.

Also, “ASD-coded” is different than ASD. These characters don’t literally have ASD, but the fantastical sci-fi backgrounds the writers set up allow them to write the characters to behave and experience struggles in a way that is similar to someone with ASD. Especially problems fitting in with a group, socialising, and forming meaningful connections with others.

Santa isn’t omniscient. He sees you when you’re sleeping. He knows when you’re awake. We can infer from this phrasing that he can’t see you when you’re awake. He also knows if you’ve been bad or good but that information isn’t as specific.

bionicjoey,

Oh shit, you figured me out

bionicjoey,

You need to be behind 7 proxies to evade him

bionicjoey,

Yeah I agree. I think the laws of supply and demand, when heavily regulated by a government that actually gives a shit about its people, is way more effective than any other way of running an economy.

bionicjoey,

This is my go-to recommendation for anyone wanting to learn the Linux CLI

bionicjoey,

I like Alexander as a plot device. I do not like Alexander as an actual onscreen character

bionicjoey,

Does Jonathan Frake?

Yes, Jonathan Frakes.

I think in both cases for the A tier flags he is giving them points for having the Maryland factor.

That being said, I’m amazed NL’s flag doesn’t score higher. It is probably tied for my favourite with Quebec’s and I’m neither Newfie nor Quebecois.

Also a bit disappointed that he didn’t mention some of the other famous unofficial flags like,

Ontarian Francophones,

The Acadian flag,

https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/27/Flag_of_Acadia.svg/1200px-Flag_of_Acadia.svg.png

The Mi’kmaq flag,

Or the Iroquois Flag,

Canada has many awesome flags, but a lot of them aren’t provincial

My favourite attraction is L’Etranger’s shooting gallery.

They shine a spotlight in your eyes while you try to shoot targets that look like Algerian men.
