I haven’t figured out distribution yet but you can bet I’ll be sharing with the community here (even if only for discussion).
Some of my favorite edits are actually in discussions between Kirk, Spock, and Bones. In one scene Bones has weird jokes that don’t really fit the tone of Spock’s exposition. It was a challenge to get around them, but I think I did it quite successfully, and it adds some needed gravitas to those portions.
It shouldn’t be clear as mud. The answer is: it will work out of the box. Just try it.
As I said in another comment, I had a system running nvidia and Pop. AMD card worked with no issues and no additional software installed. I removed the nvidia stuff some months later. It doesn’t affect anything in the meantime.
Others have said this, but just adding to the pile: I had a system running Pop and a GTX 970. I removed the 970 and installed an RX 6600 XT and had absolutely no issues (and it was the nvidia version of Pop – I simply removed the nvidia shit at a later time).
Related: I just spent 2 weeks doing a fanedit of STV. I will die on the hill that the plot is good if you can get around most of the silly humor of Shatner (which obviously I removed), as well as most of the weird shit between Scotty and Uhura.
At the core, it is a sweeping critique of religion and charlatanism. Larry Luckenbill as Sybok is one of the great performances in all of Trekdom.
Have a great street magic trick where I ask the spectator to empty a single container out of many with my back turned, but I can always pick out which one
Disney spent $4 billion for Marvel back in 2009. They’ve made far more than that back already, and I’d argue the superhero / comic movie space is now ridiculously saturated.
Personally I hope this just leads to more varied projects instead of executives resting on a single IP until the end of time (and yes, all Marvel stuff is one big IP).
All they had to do was throw it in Early Access while they fixed it. The reviews would likely be stellar in that case. Releasing it fully in this state just feels like some corporate BS. Disappointed in dev and publisher, and they keep making it worse with their weird excuses.
“Built with modern hardware in mind”, homie this shit ain’t even running right on a 4090. And 30fps target? Idk what they’re smoking.
