Download windows media tool. Start installation. Done in ~30 min. After install, downloads all necessary basic drivers automatically. Just have to download Nvidia GeForce. < I have installed my own PC yes, multiple times yes.
Enjoy your Linux, please don’t lie to prove unexisting superiority.
I’m sorry but you are just cherry picking. I’m not going into detail, but it sounds more like you have no knowledge on windows then you do. There are many ways to shorten installs for programs, those are not windows system and can be removed from your time, same for win10privacy, same for the ‘bloatware’. In all that leaves 30 min install and 30 mins of security 'in the background’ still 30min.
So no to Boost and Sync then. Though it’s a one-time payment and not a recurring subscription. However it’s ~3,75 for Boost and a whopping ~16,- for Sync to remove ads.
Plus Sync also has a subscription model which for me is an automatic -50 points.
Ah yes the ‘hi guys I have a problem with this program and it’s doing this any solutions?’ And then you would have a reply maybe in a week or with bad luck a month. I’d usually just go to a IRC chatroom and ask it there.
You guys don’t have an indicator near the door handle?? It’s super common in the Netherlands. Almost every toilet has a small indicator, except for maybe some old doors the owners didn’t replace, but all else always shows if it’s occupied or not (not that people won’t try anyway even if red for occupied).
I only started when a 1:00 video had 0:30 unskippable ads at the beginning and another 0:30 at the end. If the ad is more than the video why bother watching the ads.
I’ve also had moments were I wanted to see 1 specific point for a couple seconds, but just have to watch unskippable ads before I can scroll to the part I wanted to check (like a tutorial part).
Enjoy paying the rest of your life (or until you’re done with YouTube) a subscription to remove ads. It’s basically cable Tv for you, until they start adding ads to you anyway. The profit must grow, a company must grow, they will show you ads again.
You gave them your finger, they’ll be coming for your arms.
I’ve never been a big user, but as I’ve grown older, pot has made me pass out more than once. I took a drag off of a joint at a festival a few years ago and passed out and couldn’t be revived for 5-10 minutes. They said my blood pressure dropped dramatically. I’m wondering if this happens to anybody else

Why don't public restroom stalls have OPEN/OCCUPIED indicators like porta potties do?
I hate peaking under the stalls or knocking doors to figure it out. The answer is so simple.

Why are most memes on Lemmy from 5-10 years ago?
I’m glad people are active, but why are the most upvoted memes things from years ago? Bots? Users desperate for content?
