New apartment I moved to only has these and I’ve been dreaming of having them for years. It’s amazing. Although it looks fragile and scary when the huge door/window is only fixed lightly on the bottom 😅
I’m very excited for what’s to come. Good to know things are going well with the testing and bugs don’t seem too bad.
As features I’d like to see, I guess we still can’t configure different language layouts for different connected keyboards at the same time? I really would like to be able to have my usb connected one with english and the native laptop keyboard with portuguese. It’s annoying that I have to constantly switch when needed globally the layouts. At least multiple connected mouses seem to work fine.
It’s such a niche feature that I bet most people under 30yrs never heard or used that it’s become too cringey that everyone keeps mentioning it.
But there’s the solution already mentioned.
I’d just like that some people would look a bit at themselves and realize that almost nobody wants or cares about that single weird feature. There are many remote desktop solutions more known to end users that need that kind of interaction.
What’s the accessibility story for blind users for example?
Is it going to be suitable to use with proper bindings with other languages or it’s not an interest at this time or are there plans to support things like that and stability of apis, etc?
You know the usual memories of doing weird shit in pre school, being traumatized, also losing people and stuff like that. The usual memories that totally regular people have from that age and stay with your for the rest of your life
Porn sites Pornhub, XVideos, and Stripchat face stricter requirements to verify the ages of their users after being officially designated as “Very Large Online Platforms” (VLOPs) under the European Union’s Digital Services Act (DSA)....
Yeah, if you don’t like it just create and account on a generic big one that let’s you access most content and just go with it. Act as if centralized. People like to create problems for no reason. If other people care about choice and the tech behind it and the new possibilities allowed, let them be happy for it.
It’s literally like email. Most people just have a gmail one and that’s most common. Others care about specific services, prices, choice, privacy features, etc, and the trch allows people to make that choice without compromising the primary purpose which is connecting people.
Everyone should have a federated account just like everyone has a email account for most things that require it. More and more places are starting to have proper integration for example commenting on blogs instead of the other stupid common alternative (discourse or wtv is the name I don’t remember).
