fmstrat,

While probably a valid enough test, keep in mind Google’s fingerprinting goes well beyond IP and what incognito applies. There’s a reason Tor Browser changes things like browser window dimensions every time you open it.

fmstrat,

The oldest browser still being maintained, in fact.

fmstrat,

Would recommend you put your voice here: github.com/ushnisha/…/46

Looks like some corporate data shill wanting to put ad trackers in. FOSS plugins do this for money sometimes, but it’s baaaad.

fmstrat, (edited )

Oh good find. If I start using this I’m going to add dark mode and a MD preview mode (vs edit mode) so it can be used as a reader vs just a sharer.

Edit: Also just added some sample code that may help with paywalls in their issue tracker.

fmstrat,

Uhm, offered dev code, so probably know what an MD is 😉 And sorry, wrong on dark mode as there is no dark mode in the latest Markdownr… I just had a chat with the dev in the issue tracker. It was trivial to add dark mode and preview mode, they are now in the main branch and will be in the next release.

fmstrat,

Yup! The intent of the changes is to be able to use Markdownr more like what OP needs; as a reader for simplified web content.

fmstrat,

Oof, bad timing for that name selection. Especially with payment processing.

The invitation method is interesting, but will likely be its limiting factor vs its draw. Regular Jane/Joe wants to share their username, just not their number or email. Not being able to share verbally is tough.

fmstrat,

Nope. 3 legs and how many slices? It’s for pizza box sag. Former pizza guy.

fmstrat,

I wouldn’t necessarily put that on Amazon coming in. That’s been the trend in all cities over the past 10 years. Even suburban areas are feeling it. Hopefully remote work pushes up populations in smaller towns so other non-remote growth can occur in more affordable areas.

fmstrat,

Sold.

fmstrat,

Joining in because why not. The comment OP never mentioned groceries. They mentioned how it’s impossible to avoid Nestle when eating out/getting take out, which you agreed with.

How do I interpret USB PD2.0 vs PD3.0 PPS (max wattage)?

So I’m doing some testing of USB-C cables using a tester and a constant load (I’ll have another post soon with some questions on this). But before running each test, I’m checking the E-mark chip and then enumerating the charge capabilities of each to see what they report being capable of....

fmstrat,

Increased million dollar per year income tax. Not millionaires tax. Its very different.

fmstrat,

Yea, as entertaining as this is, it sounds like they already had the source from the repo and made the request to make sure nothing was being hidden from them (standard discovery). They would have just re-requested in digital format.

Japan Still Has Ninjas — But They’re About to Go Extinct (psnaudus.medium.com)

In 2012, Jinichi Kawakami emerged as the last surviving ninja grandmaster. Kawakami believed that the art of ninjutsu has no place in the modern age, as we have better weapons, the internet, and better medicines. Masaaki Hatsumi, another surviving ninja grandmaster, has not appointed an heir. Once Kawakami and Hatsumi pass away,...

fmstrat,

It wasn’t until the age of eighteen, when he was given access to the clan’s ancient scrolls, that Kawakami finally realized the purpose behind his decades of training
