Weird. Then why can I read the inscription in this photo of a text composed 3500 years ago? I guess some time traveler learned this totally invented 19th century language and taught it to the people back then, and also came up with Arabic and some other languages that are pretty closely related.
By the way, it says not to lie (although his hand is partly covering it).
I’ve had a lot of issues with Bing, although it may have improved since I was really using it. AI has a tendency to “hallucinate,” which is a problem if you are interested in results that well… exist.
Kagi seems to be the real deal. I’d say anecdotally it cuts my searches in half (If I had to do 4-6 searches to find something previously, now it’s 2-3 max). Sometimes I will find myself accidently on DDG and I’ll think, “Wow, why are these results all over the place?” DDG still edges out Google and Bing (actually I think it uses Bing as a backend for certain tasks).
This is exactly the reason why a majority of Israelis did not support the law, and it received significant criticism from broad Israeli groups on the right and left, Jewish, Druze, and Arab.
It’s also why it’s essentially never been enforced.
Israel is just as ethnically diverse as those you’ve listed. Druze, Arabs, Armenians, Bedouins, Samaritans, Turks, etc. in a nation of less than 10 million.
Israel is also a pluralistic society, in which all citizens (a quarter of which are not Jewish) are guaranteed complete equal rights under the law. There are multiple Arab parties in the parliament (Knesset).
Can you explain why France has a greater number of Arabic speakers than Israel but no Arabic language schools, while Israel has hundreds of state funded Arabic language schools that parents can choose to send their kids?
I don’t fucking get on how Israel has never really tried forming a state in which both palestinians and jews can live in peace together.
That is literally what Israel is. 20% of citizens are Palestinian. They have the exact same rights as any other citizen, and representation in the Israeli Parliament.
As far as Gaza is concerned, Israel withdrew all settlers and military almost 20 years ago. Israel doesn’t want any part of Gaza, but the Hamas party who rules Gaza with an iron fist wants to invade and drive out Israel.
