I don’t really know, other than the other 2 are updated on a nearly daily basis and Chimera is Arch-based (like SteamOS) with Gnome UI while Bazzite is Fedora-based.

Don’t know why I see so many people recommending HoloISO. It hasn’t been updated in 3 months, and all they did was merge a bunch of code from Chimera.

ChimeraOS and Bazzite are what you’re looking for.

What is that?

it’s how the Steamdeck handles games and probably steam.

Well that’s why I switched 🤷

Drove me fucking insane that I couldn’t uninstall Edge. Tried a few times but it always reinstalled itself. It’s just the audacity to say “no fuck you” to the person who is giving you money. Can’t disable Cortana, can’t disable all the XBOX bullshit, not to mention it’s just becoming more and more like Android where the entire OS becomes dedicated to collecting your data. Linux has none of that, and that’s enough for me.

I’m also nervous about using an OS I’m not familiar with for business purposes right away.

Couple of solutions for this:

1. Dual boot. When you have a hard time, just restart and boot into Windows.
2. You can’t transfer storage across OS so make sure to use cloud storage for your work files.

You are arguing that if they make less profit, then they won’t make media at all which isn’t true.

Buddy, you’re the one that said “or they make nothing at all” , not me.

You really should study basic economics.

For the third time, none of this has anything to do with economics, basic or otherwise.

It’s sad watching you laugh and dismiss facts because they describe how you’re being taken advantage of.

It’s sad watching you struggle with the difference between not paying for something and choosing to steal it. It’s sad watching you poorly try to justify crimes because, in your opinion, it’s too expensive. I’m not being taken advantage of. I pay what I think the service is worth, and when it fails to meet that value proposition, I simply don’t watch it…

Typically, personally, I will subscribe to a service for a month or 2 at a time because by that time I have consumed everything interesting that it has to offer.
