It’s funny how despite social media becoming very normal, the old phenomenon of most content getting generated by a small portion of power users persists.
Come to think of it there’s probably something to make sure theaters are completing the number of contractually obligated screenings too. Like a 3 person screening is probably a loss for the theater, but not revenue distributers want to lose out on.
I’ve seen very few leaks of digital prints intended to play in theaters on torrent sites. Either this DRM is unusually effective or pretty much unnecessary.
They probably assumed this is like a theme park or something and not an actual city that people actually live in year round. Cities having nice, people friendly places away from cars? Who’s ever heard of that?
? What? That’s like the status quo. There’s famously a bias among professors against teaching-stream grad students, they prefer grad students who attempt to become professors as well. Unless you mean the professor prefers people who seek careers outside of academia?
I did a PhD so I was a little late to the “real world” than other millenials. And I gotta say GenZ are in a much worse boat than millenials depending on location. In the Toronto area I’d say there’s a lucky subset of millenials who will never afford a home but have been in a rent-controlled unit for a few years. Idk how affordable having an apartment to yourself would be for gen z. To spend only 35% of your income on rent in Toronto right now for a 1 bedroom you’d need to be in the top quintile for HH income.
I think I joked previously the millenial experience was going on zillow to look at houses you’ll never afford while the genz experience is looking at apartments you’ll never afford.

Find out what version of windows that laptop ships with, and install that. Windows licenses have been tied to mobos for a while, there’s a good chance it’ll just activate. If you need an installer, you can download ISOs and tools to make a bootable USB from Microsoft’s site.
