The good fight, but it’s a bit on and off. There are subplots about resistance movements, but it’s more against far right than rich. They are just aligned. Some is the imbalance of justice.

If deflation was 1%, it means the prices of everything is dropping. It means that waiting to buy something means you’ll save money, so you wait and don’t buy. So they have to drop the price to sell more so they can restock. But then people wait more and buy less. So they start making less. So they need less workers. So they let people to. So people can afford less, so they buy less. So prices drop. So they let people go. Etc etc.

What you are talking about is a recession. It’s not favourable to rich or poor, but the poor will suffer more as the rich can afford their basic needs whether there is inflation or deflation.

Tech is deflationary for the same technology, as it devalues due to newer technology coming to replace it. The overall cost of an up to date computer, or camera, for instance is inflationary.

Yes, they should pull it if they legally have to. That’s following the law. However, they should refund consumers in full or ensure that they continue to have the media without restrictions.

There are a bunch of studies that show that there is minor map advantage on most (not all) measures for trans athletes a few years after transitioning with hormone therapy. Some trans people never go through puberty of their assigned sex at birth.

I used to be of the view that it wasn’t fair for someone who was amab to have an innate advantage over someone else who wasn’t. However, we should also consider where they would compete. Is it fair to have trans women compete against cis males who now have a similar, but more profound, advantage over them? Or are they now just excluded?

I’ve come to believe that all sports at the elite level are dominated by those with genetic and physical advantage, usually by luck. Trans people also for in that category, but it’s easier to pinpoint the why for them. All the rules of sport are arbitrary, anyway.

So, after consideration, I think we should have sports open to all that are (identify) as a particular gender. For sports that already categorise by physicality (boxing, weightlifting etc), I don’t think it would be problematic to consider their physicality too. For many sports there is no advantage anyway, after transition. And even if there was, isn’t the point of sports to have fun, to enjoy oneself and have pleasure. Only a rare few people compete at elite levels. Excluding trans people hurts far more.people than it helps.

I disagree with the toiletries thing. It’s no panic if you forget them, but straight after a long haul flight, you want to refresh which includes brushing teeth.

If you’re flying somewhere hot, you want to apply sunscreen and get straight in the pool at your destination. It really makes it feel like the holiday is started,
