Itā€™s terrible that some civilians immigrated to Israel for the sole purpose of becoming settlers and pushing Palestinians out.

Itā€™s terrible that some civilians immigrated to Gaza for the sole purpose of having as big a family as possible to use their own children and grandchildren as human shields against Israeli settlers.

Itā€™s terrible that dual-citizenship people on both sides are asking ā€œtheirā€ [other] countries to evacuate them, after having spent decades there on purpose.

Itā€™s terrible that Israel is willing to watch millions of civilians starveā€¦ that Egypt doesnā€™t want to let refugees inā€¦ and Hamas doesnā€™t want to let them out.

So far, I see nothing wonderful in all of this.

Last thing Iā€™ve heard is China would be supporting Palestine/Hamas. If that were to translate into weapon supplies, it could turn into a hairy situation.

Possible. To my excuse, I heard it on TV (on a supposedly reputable channel, but still).

Another thing Iā€™ve heard, is that apparently Russia wouldā€™ve been supplying Hamas with the NATO weapons theyā€™ve been seizing in Ukraine from among the ones supplied as NATO aid.

Imagine if they also maskedā€¦ and kept doing it even after COVID is ā€œgoneā€ (aka: killing fewer people).

Earlier this week, I had to catch a bus and go to a clinic to get my blood work done. Plenty of coughing and sneezing people in both places, and other than the office workers, I was the only one wearing a mask.

According to one estimate, Europeā€™s farm animals have a bigger carbon footprint than its cars.

According to another estimate, leisure cruise ships had a 10x bigger footprint than all Europeā€™s carsā€¦

But still, itā€™s great news to reduce farm animal carbon footprint. Not sure whether feeding larvae to piglets will achieve that though (they provide ā€œstimulationā€? ughā€¦), there seem to be better ā€”directā€” uses like insect flour, no need to even chew on them whole, although thatā€™s also an option.
