My instance is using the latest Lemmy version and nothing broke for me, if any I don’t have the new sort types, if I want to use them I usually head to Voyager, sadly I didn’t find the new sort types very interesting, or maybe I need to browse them more hah.

I do agree that if he is charging for something he should be more present with their users though, but I’m pretty sure if something critical happened he would be on it ASAP, granted I don’t know how active he is in his Discord server or on GitHub.

Somebody downvoted you… I didn’t think the sync hate was a thing yet, anyway, Sync is a damn beauty, it handles the very aggressive ram management of android very well, for me (and for many many more aspects) I think Sync is the best app for Reddit and Lemmy, and maybe the best app I have ever used on Android LMAO.

Lemmy, is there a treasured piece of content that you stop yourself from going back to "too often" so as to not dilute it?

I do this for a few things, movies in particular. For me most recently, I’m planning on watching Bo Burnham’s Inside this weekend, for the first time since I watched it shortly post-release. I wasn’t really intending to wait checks watch nearly 3 years on that one, but I definitely felt it needed some space before a...

Toy Story 2 for PS1, I still need to try the Dreamcast version though.

They’re beautiful.

In which aspects are you finding them beautiful?

Don’t get me wrong I am not a hater whatsoever, but I started watching them with my girlfriend recently and I’m not feeling it completely, I only watched Spirited Away before and I have the same feeling.

We have watched so far (in this order):

  1. The Boy and The Heron
  2. Princess Mononoke (this one was my favorite)
  3. How’s Castle
  4. My Neighbor Totoro

The art design is top notch I can agree with that.

That escalated quickly, and I love it.

I am a Komga user because finding comics is a mess for me (in Spanish) but I am surprised at how easy it is to find manga with Tachiyomi/Aniyomi (I think the latter has the extensions broken for a while).

Do you think the original dev is regretting his apps were open source?

Nintendo DS.

PSP.

3DS.

Nintendo Switch.

PS3.

Wii.

PS2.

PS1.

Game Boy Advance.

Game Boy Color.

In that order.

Edit: why? Because I played the most of them in such order 😅

I could be wrong though.

Hey, I was born this year!

Did you use a specific website to gather all this info?

I remember someone mentioned a link to watch interesting stuff from the past here on Lemmy 🤔

@kratoz29@lemm.ee avatar

I chose none 😆

There is BetterBatteryStats and Franco Kernel Manager, AccuBattery and GSam Battery Monitor to track the battery, most tools should exist too.

Anyway, the free version of Battery Guru doesn’t bother me in the slightest.

Mexican here, I can confirm, I can torrent and seed all the way I can (sadly through CGNAT).

This doesn’t change the fact that they are blocking us, sadly.

What is the difference in this new sideload thingy EU only compared with what we have today with tools like Altstore?

kratoz29,

Bro, I noticed the same, it has been a long time since I played around with the sort types, I basically settled with Active and hid all seen stuff, now I feel I get different content with other kinds of sorts.

Thanks, I’ll check that out :)

Nice to see this app still strong.

Exactly, I’d like to add that the catalogue is outstanding and it pretty much humiliates all the other legal streaming sites, even its interface is better than other apps (like Prime Video).

You couldn’t have explained it better, there is still Super Heroes stuff worth it, I like The Boys and Invincible for example.

And The Marvels wasn’t that bad honestly, I liked it more than most recent marvel products lol.

I wouldn’t say I love Google, but I definitely use their services, mostly Gmail, Google Maps, Drive, YouTube, Google Assistant… Android phone not degoogled (I actually like Pixel Launcher)… But hey I just ditched Chrome for Firefox because I think the latter gave me a better experience!

Take my upvote, I am ready for more of this!

Although I think the perception of this thread is ruling out animated stuff.

I hate this shit so much, even when I can do semi okay because I use a Shield TV the logins are still a pain in the ass.

Using my Miyoo Mini, or my DS Lite or DSi XL.

IMHO handhelds are truly a gem to be kept, and until streaming gaming (appears to be “the future”) is widely available for everyone we are better with the retro gaming community.

Honorable mention to larger handhelds such as the Switch or the Steam Deck…

Almost all the buttons of the YouTube video player in Android, I don’t know if it is a bad design, or I have just stupid fingers, but I always end up touching stuff I don’t want to, even exiting the video sometimes.
