lobut,

I think I saw some doctor on YouTube explaining that most blind people don’t see pure black. They have varying levels of sight that count as being legally blind due to cataracts or something else.

Don’t get me wrong, the relief they feel for that 30 seconds for their disabilities to come back still fits in with the spirit of this meme.

lobut,

Agreed. I think it’s amusing to observe. Being around it yourself is quite difficult. Being the target of it sucks and having your peer go off the deep end and finding a way to reel them in sucks too.

lobut,

I use Amethyst on Mac for tiling: ianyh.com/amethyst/.

Not sure if that’s what you meant though.

lobut,

Is that so? I’ve been wanting to try a tilling manager for Linux, thanks for the recommend!

lobut,

I love other people’s stuffing. I made stuffing and gave myself food poisoning.

lobut,

Yeah, I put it inside the turkey. I used a friend’s recipe, but it must have been a bigger bird and took too long to cook or something.

Okay, I just Googled it:

When you place stuffing inside a turkey, it comes into contact with raw meat and juices that may contain harmful bacteria such as salmonella.

lobut,

I didn’t see live action and I’m like why would Tom Holland need to do the voice? Yeah … I thought they were doing well with the Mario Movie …

lobut,

I do it while watching TV or something. It never seems to stop though. Even better when the kids spill something on the couch or wet the bed and you have to do impromptu laundry in the middle of the non-stop laundry.

lobut,

I just can’t. I think I need to switch my diet up or something. Even when I was doing pure veggie shakes it’s been a chore.

lobut,

Infinity War has its faults. It’s paced a little nonstop and the Wakanda bits are a bit weak. That being said, I saw it ten times in the cinema and it’s the perfect movie for me. I swear – the tail end of Thanos being on Titan to the end of the movie, you can feel how somber it was and I feel that’s because of the connection to the characters. We can always say “oh they’re coming back” but I like to watch the movie on its own and remember just how it felt watching the movie for the first time.

lobut,

I have a similar policy. It sucks when it’s a video that I’m interested in (at least due to the title) but I refuse to follow along with this stupid trend.

lobut,

I’m one of those people that don’t like it when people recommend stuff. I guess generally if you send me a clip and it’s my kinda jam then that’s cool.

Most of the time I like watching old stuff. I feel like I don’t need to pay attention as much and can just relax.

lobut, (edited )

So many other things can become alcohol. Not sure if they’re saying a boring potato can be more because potatoes are amazing. They can be chips, fries, mashed, jacket, Mr, dauphinoise/scalloped/gratin, latke, boiled! It’s so versatile!

lobut,

Yeah I have a lot of vegetarian Indian friends, not as many vegan.

lobut,

You’re not alone. They looked at the Obama Effect: youtu.be/qyQAodO_K20

Obama’s presidency on the affect on African Americans.

lobut,

One of friends back in the day would lecture me on having a phone case. “why don’t you just not drop it?” I was like, dude, accidents happen. “I’ve never dropped my phone he’d say.” I swear, like a month after that happened, his friend stepped on his phone and a month after that he dropped his phone when taking it out of his pocket outside a burger joint.

I didn’t have a go about it. He’s not one of those that takes those types of jabs well.

lobut,

I wonder if there’s an overlap between those that relate to this meme and all those complaining how hard it is to make friends as an adult.

I usually make friends at work or am friendly with my coworkers. I understand not wanting to be friendly with annoying or bossy people. However, it doesn’t hurt to have a beer every now and again. I keep HR at arm’s length though …

lobut,

When I was in group, some ladies used the pillows because the back was a bit “too” far back otherwise if they did go all the way back then their feet wouldn’t touch the ground.

lobut,

Apple was against it because if you have parts, you can build counterfit iPhones and stuff (read about that rationale years ago, take it with a grain of salt). Also, the repair market is quite lucrative forcing customers to buy new devices than actually fixing them. They were doing this with iPods way back in the day with irreplaceable batteries or batteries so pricey, “you may as well buy a new one”.

No idea why they changed their tune. I could only imagine their revenue streams have leaned more into software now but I’m just an idiot online, what do I know.

lobut,

Dems get blamed for not doing enough. Republicans get away with blocking the previous attempt for some reason. Tale as old as time.
