Being german, I’ve already heard this joke a thousand times, but it’s so true that it makes me laugh every time. I think many germans are big on sarcasm, where arguably the main part of the joke is the complete seriousness of whoever makes the joke.
Most artists put their stuff up on YouTube anyways so you can give it a listen before you decide to buy. And I think buying each track makes you appreciate the music more but also makes you more critical because you want to get your money’s worth.
Regarding it being expensive, considering that with the money you spend on Spotify you can buy an album each month, I don’t think it’s too bad
I just made the switch a few months ago and I’ve only seen memes about audio, never anyone actually asking how to fix audio and I also never encountered issues with audio myself. my usb audio interface works just fine, although it’s not really professional. what’s the big deal?
I think the vast majority of users won’t change their display server without doing a fresh install, so I’m not sure if that’s a fair comparison to the average use case. That being said, you experiencing that issue is a fair reason for staying wary.
Well known KDE developer Nate Graham is out with a blog post today outlining his latest Wayland thoughts, how X11 is a bad platform, and the recent topic of “Wayland breaking everything” isn’t really accurate....
Ive seen several devs do that, and also some of my gaming friends have 3 monitors.
I barely know anyone who only has a single display. Most people I know have one high refresh rate monitor, and one office monitor for discord and the likes.
May I suggest having a Christmas with your friends, whatever way you like it?
This year I spent Christmas with one friend, and we just did whatever made us happy. We watched a few movies, and smoked some weed. She decorated the tree, I cooked my favorite meal. No gifts or anything, no yelling, just a good time. Probably the best Christmas I had in years.
Spend your time with the people you love and cherish. Christmas doesn’t necessarily need to be about family or gifts.
Kind of a trend, the amount of youtubers who i had loved but their content became generic after gaining popularity is quite a bit, most drastic one being mrwhosetheboss, his uniqueness went down faster than MH27 MH17
I can handle the software part. I just want some ideas on how I can change the keys via a cheap and less-effort method. It is not a Peripheral keyboard, just the one integrated with my laptop....
I imagine that to be pretty difficult with laptop keyboards like a scissor switch. But after googling a bit there seem to be a few tutorials so maybe it’s easier than I think.
yeah having switched to linux recently it’s pretty much impossible to go without reddit. sure, superuser and generally linux forums do have a bunch of answers, but a lot are on reddit as well.
