Mint is based on Ubuntu and LMDE is based on Debian. I think Mint is more up-to-date and more newbie friendly.

Not sure what you mean. Ascension is a private server, not run by Blizzard.

You can play Classic (Vanilla) WoW officially and you can play Wrath of the Lich King. Next will be Cataclysm. So the old WoW still exist in some way.

I usually play Guild Wars 2, but at the moment I’m trying out World of Warcraft: Classic Hardcore. It’s quite fun and challenging.

WoW: Seasons of Discovery has also peaked piqued my interest. I hope it has potential to become WoW: Classic+.

Thanks, that sounds awesome. This would also allow me to run I2P 24/7, helping the network, instead of having my PC run all the time.

Does anyone know if it’s possible to setup I2P on a local server and then point to that, when setting up the proxy settings in Firefox from your PC?

I’ve tried and used Linux many times. Sometimes over the course of a whole year, but I always end up going back to Windows because of my games and Adobe.

The sorting algorithm still needs some tweaking, so it won’t show that many posts from big communities, but spread it out more, so smaller communities also show up.

Have you had any bad experiences with people on Lemmy?

I was recently talking to some friends about Lemmy and the whole Fediverse idea, as it seemed like a really cool part of the Internet. As I was talking about it, though, I realized how unusually friendly this whole place is, and I joked that I “surprisingly haven’t found any bigotry.”...
