mvirts, to linuxmemes in I don't...

Lol I’ll care if I’m ever not able to build from source, which would mean I probably won’t use that software, so I don’t care.

mvirts, to lemmyshitpost in Hang in there.
mvirts, to asklemmy in What are your ear buds cleaning rituals?

I look at them before putting them in my ear, think about how I need to clean them, then forget as soon as I put them in 😹

mvirts, to linux in Is it possible to isolate which GUI programs are seem by a screensharing program in xorg or wayland ?

Idk what exactly you’re asking for, but this is already an option for me on teams in chrome running under Wayland??? Like when I choose start presenting it pops up a dialog with window options including the whole desktop.

mvirts, to linux in I'm so frustrated rn.

Seconded. Just don’t run it on incompatible hardware, okay? 😹

mvirts, to memes in Remember when everything was so blocky?

G g g gif, the one bit alpha wonder

mvirts, to linux in I'm Done With Windows, Are you?

So done, except when my employer uses windows 😹

mvirts, to lemmyshitpost in Air quality in there isn't too good

No city name on the lid? Maybe this is the best crawlspace access ever?

mvirts, to linux in Is there any way to emulate aegis authenticator (fdroid) on an ubuntu based computer?

I would recommend using a native 2fa app for Ubuntu. This answer askubuntu.com/a/1460646 recommends keepassxc, which is also a password manager that I personally use for passwords but I’ve not used its 2fa function. I also found this app gitlab.gnome.org/World/Authenticator

mvirts, to linux in Friendly reminder

Woohoo

mvirts, to asklemmy in What gifts that you received for Christmas this year are already in the trash?

Yeah I feel like this is some kind of reference I’m missing

mvirts, to asklemmy in What gifts that you received for Christmas this year are already in the trash?

Lol so you threw it in the trash? 😹

mvirts, (edited ) to linux in Wifi stopped showing in linux mint

I would check for kernel logs from the iwlwifi driver. If there is nothing in dmesg about it failing, maybe see if newer firmware is available for your device?

mvirts, to linux in What are your opinions of Guix?

I haven’t gnused it, I probably won’t unless I stop using nixos. I haven’t looked into it much, how different from nixos is guix?

mvirts, to linux in Is DNS Bloat too?

Lol … DNS is one of the pillars upon which the internets tands, a crumbling mess of a pillar but I’m sure glad we don’t have a name system built on hosts files 😹
