Bananas are ridiculously cheap even up here in Canada, and they aren’t grown anywhere near here. Yet a banana can grow, be harvested, be shipped, be stocked, and then be purchased by me for less than it’d cost to mail a letter across town. (Well, if I could buy a single banana maybe…or maybe that’s not the best...
It kind of makes sense though. Pasta is cheap too. Most ramen packs are less noodles than you’d get in a bag of pasta, but with a bit of packaged salt/seasoning mix. It can also be manufactured anywhere with stuff that grows locally (at least where I am).
And even then, with chocolate, costs are rising. You can tell by how prevalent things like “chocolatey chips” are.
We’ve gotten too used to having cheap coffee and chocolate, and I’m disappointed with the substitutes…too bad I can’t afford the ethical stuff quite yet, lol
Sorry, it’s not that I didn’t understand what you said, it’s that I can hardly fathom it.
Most high schools I was aware of were two floors. In a single building, and I almost forgot to specify that because I’d never heard of a multi-building high school before.

There’s like a thousand games where there’s a playable cat, fox, dog, and/or bird, or an anthropomorphic version of such - either as the main character, or a playable one in a funny animal roster. But for skunks I don’t see any major new titles coming out as such....
Haven’t been able to record it yet, but the sound only happens when the power supply is plugged into the HDD and the outlet (not one or the other), and the HDD is NOT plugged into the computer.
Plugging the HDD into the computer stops the sound. I was unplugging it from the PC to keep it offline when I didn’t need it. (After safely ejecting and waiting etc. of course)
I guess I’ll just need to unplug the power when I’m not using it, too.
What are some food items that cost less than what they "should"?

What's some amazing technology they have in Japan that's very normal to them but would blow our minds here in the US and western world?
The 2024 US Presidential race officially starts Monday, what are your predictions for Iowa?
People that went to high schools with 3 or more floors, did you think that was a bit odd?
