prettybunnys,

I’m sure this is frustrating for you but I am enjoying every response you get that you then get to reply to.

prettybunnys,

Alternate take: super insular and traditionally xenophobic nation has a non-native citizen win helping to expand their cultural definition of who is Japanese and who is beautiful.

prettybunnys,

Another thing the world ought to know is that the folks who are identified by “red” and “right” in America are in the minority.

Significantly so.

However our voting system uses geography / land as a modifier so while there are less of them they occupy a larger land mass and have an outsized vote strength because of that.

When total votes in a state can be split 45-55 but the delegates go 90-10 there is a problem

prettybunnys,

Star Wars follows Game of Thrones rules, if the head don’t come off then they aren’t dead necessarily.

prettybunnys,

Team Rocket is a lot more sinister when you realize they’re running around causing generations of children to starve in the wilderness

prettybunnys,

I’m not convinced this isn’t a nice wig being worn that was then absolutely butchered, right before this photo was taken. Really quick in the bathroom in a “oh fuck you bought a women’s wig?” Moment.

prettybunnys,

IF your dishwasher is working properly then you ought to be able to put your poop knife, dinner dishes AND toilet brushes in and everything comes out sanitary.

Don’t ask why there is peanut butter left on the knife. You’ll be ok.

This is utter horseshit. Anyone who doesn’t acknowledge that fact probably just didn’t know and you’re just projecting some “I’m better than you” nonsense.

We learn the metric system in our schools. It’s part of our curriculum. We learn it in math classes, we learn it in science classes, we learn about it in history classes as well.

The UK drives using MPH too, despite the metric system being the standard. Oh nooooo! An alternate measurement system that the masses understand and accept!

For what it is worth, if you were curious, NIST adopted and recommends the SI standard.

However what IS fun is the world adopting US customary measures intertwined with metrics units for new measurements that weren’t used before, electrical current/resistance stuff like that. **Though, good luck getting anyone who likes to try to dunk on the USA like this to admit it.**Any American who responds how you’re saying is just pissed that once again someone is trying to look down their nose at us for living our fucking lives.

prettybunnys,

I’m actually part of a email chain that randomly got created because of a bug on GitHub that created an issue out of nowhere.

Every year for the past decade or so folks pop up, say hi, talk about life, etc.

We’ve celebrated birthdays, graduations, marriages and births and talked about job losses and even death of loved ones.

Thanks random GitHub bug.

prettybunnys,

We call it “the longest minute” in my house.

You keep saying stuff and it keeps getting worse….

This is so wrong it is unhinged.

AppleTV+ is a subscription service to Apple content.

It’s a separate app, you don’t even need to have it installed.

You’re saying this new app and service they added, which don’t change the interface at all, has somehow ruined the interface?

What does the changed remote have to do with anything?

The center of the directional pad works like the old panel remote and they added the circle everyone complained about them removing.

And wtf does the butterfly keyboard have to do with the remote?

prettybunnys,

Yeah 3000 if you’re an idiot, for the price of the 3000 you’d be an idiot not to get the 3000m-ti, you won’t ever use the features but you’d be an idiot not to have them.

prettybunnys,

Alternate take: humans are a simple biological battery that can be harvested using systems already in place that the computers can just use like an API.

We’re a resource like trees.

The capability for children to immerse themselves in a fantasy world and act is astounding, this is absolutely believable to anyone who has ever had a child

Frankly we ought to get some toddlers in the writing room for some movies, we’ll get some really well thought out nonsense

prettybunnys,

Listen, I AM going to work this into a gitlab pipeline somehow now.

When do I collect my trophy, I need a deadline otherwise I’ll give up.

prettybunnys,

Not a cell phone in sight, just boys being dudes living in the moment.

prettybunnys,

Sounds like you had a botched toe circumcision

prettybunnys,

There’s also folks like me who came, 15 years on Reddit and I haven’t been back.

Those of us who actually interacted with the platform and left aren’t going back.

prettybunnys,

You don’t give away your capabilities regardless of what you assume your adversary has.

It’s that simple.

prettybunnys,

It’s understandable too, how do you convince someone to stop fighting back so their enemy will stop punching them?

Like, remember when your parents told you that the best way to stop arguing with someone was to just stop arguing?

This is the same situation but instead of just arguing they’re literally committing war crimes and terrorist acts against each other.

Hard to say who started it in the moment when both are acting, and when everyone is acting in it frankly the who started it becomes irrelevant when there is only one good solution, for everyone to stop.
