La première fois que je l’ai entendu ça m’a aussi étonné et je ne sais pas si beaucoup de gens le disent. Moi j’entends surtout "ouvrir la fenêtre par le haut. Et oscillo-batant sur les fiches de description de produit.

Oh ! I misunderstood the post. I thought it was about powdered pudding being most variety in the stores. There is still canned pudding and fruit coktail in France but also some in plastic.

Also in french, it evoled into two names : Clovis from the latin prononciation become Louis, losing the c, and making (the latin way) v and u the same. Chlodowig, losing Ch and shifting from w to v become Ludovic.
