It does, because the batteries for electric cars have a reliance on rare earth metals.
Lol the downvotes are hilarious. We will not solve climate change with electric cars. Public transit in walkable communities with niche uses for cars and trucks are the only way forward.
As seen in the Wikipedia article, sodium ion batteries also require rare earth metal anodes, or toxic materials like mercury which is also bad. Better than lithium ion, but still generally not great. The best option would be aluminum air batteries, which should be easily accessible and are extremely recyclable
perhaps you’d be interested in the fact that I grew up in a very rural area. The nearest city was Rochester, MN, roughly 30 minutes away if you were going 70 in the 55 on US 52. I agree that rural areas will need cars to go from their houses to towns and cities, but I’ve thought extensively about public transit in rural areas, and I think it’s far easier than folks think.
My kiddo and I are having a fruit and vegetable challenge. Each month we’ll seek out a fruit or vegetable we’ve never tried and taste it. My BFF is trying to walk all the greenways in our county (that is county not country, low stakes! Attainabl!). How about you?
I’ve never had a Facebook account or any other social media. I know they keep shadow profiles, but I’ve never given permission. I never had any interest and frankly still don’t....
The only standard social media account I’d recommend is linkedin, literally only because it’s meant to network for jobs. Don’t get me wrong, it’s full of desperate corporate worship and therefore miserable to use. However, the real point is networking for career advancement and job listings
Goodness, I can’t imagine only ONE vacation per year! Buy a single family home and rent it at twice the cost of the mortgage to make ends meet. It’s hard work not doing anything all year!
I’ve never seen canned celery, but I imagine that it would be far too mushy for chicken noodle soup. Besides, this is the quick and dirty version of the soup, since it takes a minute to chop the celery and then all that’s left is letting it simmer for 20 minutes. Obviously it tastes much better with fresh ingredients
I understand that, but I didn’t post an actual recipe at first, i posted an idea of a recipe that required an actual basis of understanding to create a basic recipe. No one would accept an unseasoned recipe, not even myself. Even the most complex chicken noodle soup recipe involves salt, pepper, basil, and oregano. Sorry if I didn’t meet your standards initially.
Pro tip, all it takes for chicken noodle soup is 1 can of carrots, 1 tin of canned chicken, a chopped stalk of celery, a chopped onion, some egg noodles, and 2 containers of chicken stock. Add a pad of butter, the celery, and onion to the pot and cook until translucent. Add the stock, drain and add the canned ingredients. Season with salt, pepper, basil, and oregano to taste. Simmer for roughly 15-20 minutes.
for the grilled cheese you obviously want to have with the soup: grab some gouda and havarti cheese, and coat one side of each piece of bread with a thin layer of mayo. Toast each side on a pan with the mayo side out until browned to desired color
ETA: forgot the onion, and made it a legit recipe someone could follow
Counterpoint, getting high and taking a commercial flight now is awesome. On my last flight, I had a few edibles before boarding and watched interstellar during the flight. As they were landing on the first planet, the plane hit some turbulence. 10/10 most immersive experience ever

Ancient wisdom often sounds like common sense now that it is commomly taught. What is some ancient wisdom that we no longer teach because it was wrong?
