ryathal, to memes in Lies! Deception!

It really depends on who is working when you go, so of the younger guys just known where stuff is, not every arcane solution ever used in home repair.

It’s probably just marketing, the super high stack is visible from far away and advertisers many available colors. If one catches your eye, you then have to walk through a bunch of other aisles to actually get to the towels. It’s like putting the milk at the back of the grocery store.

It equal parts parmesan and cream/butter. That’s basically enough fluid to make parmesan liquid.

It’s really not bad if all you do is work regular jobs, even a lot of them. The problem is Americans are shit at reading and math so they don’t understand directions well. Companies benefit from making it seem complicated though.

If you own your own business taxes are a huge pain, because you have to do all the stuff employers do, like payroll taxes.

If you are part of the ~13% that benefit from itemizing on your taxes, it’s also more complicated.

Alfredo is basically liquid cheese.

You aren’t entirely wrong. Most items at bulk clubs aren’t cheaper than other stores, just bigger. There’s generally a handful of items worth getting, and everything else should be avoided. Also Costco is usually more expensive, because they have random products that are organic, non-gmo, artisan things that cost more without good justification.

That makes more sense. I thought it was some 90s era novelty phone based on the pattern of holes.

ryathal, to asklemmy in What do ridiculously rich people (like Bill Gates etc.) ask for/get for Christmas/birthdays/etc.?

It’s probably also about things that he’s just not aware of. While he can buy anything, knowing about everything is impossible.

ryathal, to memes in Did someone say history memes?

Clearly ceremonial purposes.

ryathal, to memes in IRS be like

Which the IRS has acted on, and most these platforms have to send documents to the IRS for anyone that crosses a certain threshold. They are going to have to prove it isn’t income or claim it.

If you buy all the scratchers you will win, you probably wouldn’t net a positive amount, but you would win.

ryathal, to memes in Baking seems like so much more fun

People over complicate baking. It’s mostly just managing the ratio of wet and dry ingredients. The more you bake the more you recognize what looks right. Many older recipes are written, to just add flour until it’s right.

Honestly the biggest problem people have with baking is probably not having a properly heated oven, and cooking too long or short.

ryathal, to lemmyshitpost in 1 imitation whipped cream tub with a side of pie, please.

Cool whip is the margarine of the whipped cream world.

ryathal, to movies in Star Wars Undertakes Universe-Shaking Changes After ‘Ahsoka’ | Dave Filoni has became the Chief Creative Officer of Lucasfilm.

Being a fan boy isn’t always great for producing good content. The problems with recent star wars are way more than some corporate meddling.

ryathal, to memes in Air cooling is just better

Water cooling is just air cooling that moves the fan. If you have a crappy radiator, you aren’t going to get great cooling. Water is a great way to move heat, which is why we use it for cars, heating, and power production.
