This is why I try to endure the fever side effects of vaccines as much as I can without taking a tylenol, so my immune system gets some proper “training” to recognize and fight the real thing.
You can start with a DNS blocker in the meantime. It’s just configuring your router to use an ad-blocking DNS server like Mullvad, Control D, or Aha for example. No additional hardware, tools, or setup required. Then when you’re ready, you can try setting up a pihole.
You can absolutely configure the default search engine on your browser to a custom one in some cases. I use startpage and it isn’t in the default options, but it can be added.
I was gonna say the same. It’s going for the nuclear option for a relatively small problem (unsigned apps warning). Why run something that emulates an OS when you already have the legit one that’s proven to work well with your productivity. Also, the best OS that runs on mac hardware is macOS. Ramen. There are a lot of ways to do the broth faster, but nothing beats the real thing that needs to be boiled over several hours; and I don’t have the time to do that. I make a lot of other japanese dishes myself but ramen will always be eaten at a restaurant.
On electric toothbrushes, my hygienist basically told me: Imagine how many times you go back and forth manually with your hand when brushing. Now compare that to how many times an electric toothbrush can do the same in the same time frame. So the latter is more effective.
Not counting climbing a mountain with ice (and no snow falling), my actual first snowfall was in the 2021 snowpocalypse in Texas of all places. So it wasn’t actually a great time. We were fortunate enough not to lose power and water though, so other people definitely had it way worse than us.
