I’ve been seeing all these posts about Linux lately, and looking at them, I can honestly see the appeal. I’d love having so much autonomy over the OS I use, and customize it however I like, even having so many options to choose from when it comes to distros. The only thing holding me back, however, is incompatibility issues....
It’s hard to judge a stick without feeling it’s heft but from looks alone I give it a 6 maybe. Above average for shape and length but the bark quality (aesthetically) and the lumps really take from its value.
At another glance I can tell this stick was recently living and probably quite solid as such. I’ll raise it to 7/10
America still had slavery in the 1940s when the last slave was freed (might’ve been later than that) and it still has slavery in the form of prison labor
I’m working on a indie video game that’s set on a large ship and I’m looking to have it be a very hidden and elusive boat. (Speaking vaguely to avoid spoilers)...
both Linux operating systems have 1. A friendly user interface, 2. A hidden terminal, and 3. A locked down root user, to avoid dangerous actions!! Why do people seem to dislike Android when Ubuntu is similar to it??
No one on hexbear likes Russia in its current state. No one thinks it is a “neo-USSR” (lmao). Russia is not Communist and no self respecting communist would call it that. The West is imperialist and bad, the most obvious example of this being the entire global south.
Fellow wendigooner? He made some great points yeah but he also falsely attributed most of societies misgivings to the progress of technology rather than the actual culprit, capitalism.
Besides that he was basically just a grifter and didn’t really care much about the exact ideology. He only really cared about how it justified his hatred for people and love for nature.

What is the best distro for gaming?
I know gaming has gotten a lot better on Linux and I’m working on a new PC and I’m wondering which distro to try.
