Normally I live in a, relatively speaking, new city - and everything is so bloody far away, sure some things are more centralised but plenty of things are getting built in places with no public transport connections or an easy way to walk to.
For 3 years at uni I lived in a very old town, and everything, just everything, was in the town centre, you could walk everywhere with no issues.
The difference is one place was built for people, and the other was built for cars.
or you could bring in headphones to public transport like the rest of us
also lmao “public transportation where each person or group could ride in their own automated pod”, you’re either advocating for taxis or straight up segregation
me in tetris. none of my friends will fight me anymore after i kept beating them even when drunk and high. but i am nothing compared to professional players
there are now two different search buttons, very intuitive i know, one is channel specific - the one you see when you’re chatting in a channel (basically a pre-set in:channel for dumb people), and a universal server wide one that’s at the very top of the channel list, you can still od in:channel in there, but by default it searches all channels
at least i hope that’s the case, if it’s not i’ll riot
same here, even when someone hasn’t changed my mind 100% I’ll often acknowledge if any of their arguments made me want to delve deeper into a topic and think more about my opinion on it
as a wannabe creator it’s rather terrifying to see that even Jocat, one of the softest and most wholesome creators I’ve had the pleasure of watching - gets bullied out of doing what he loves. Where are those hate mobs coming from? what is their point?
yeesh does that hit home, last day or two i’ve been trying very hard to have a conversation with someone and their replies were wild assumptions about me and insults based on said wild assumptions, no actual arguments or anything, just being mad at a version of me they fully made up in their head. At first i felt kinda hurt by their words, i think rather understandably i’m not a fan of being insulted even when the insults make little sense, but then it just became really confusing how confident they were being about things they made up.
i think as long as you don’t try to psycho-analyse a stranger on the internet basing on a single conversation you had you’ll be fine lol. stick to arguing with their points and trying to understand their stances not attacking them personality or extracting a whole made up image of who they could be
