It helps once, but does it push notifications when the TOS changes from the last time you read it?

The TOS could switch from protecting your data to sharing it for money at any point in time and that would apply to any existing data. Unless you know you can get them to delete it, the fact that the TOS used to say something does not matter once they change it.

As long as they are not causing further traffic issues by not being predictable when yielding right of way when they don't need to.

Predictable and cautious is far better than slow and courteous.

No reason to care when the TOS can be changed at any time, and who wants to read it once much less every times they want to use a thing?

My state just recently started posting signs to keep using both lanes so people wouldn't go to one lane far too early. It was nice to be able to zipper merge without people pushing back.

@snooggums@kbin.social avatar

The main problem with zipper merges in practice are selfish people who rush to zipper and cause even more congestion because of their erratic attempt to merge. Like traffic circles they work great when everyone is doing it right and they cam get really messed up when people do it wrong.

It would be great if zipper merging was taught as part of getting a license. Or they actually required someone to learn how to zipper merge as part of their license renewal.

It is important to differentiate between able to know and contact tracking to enable controlling behavior. Knowing to help with communication and transportation arrangements is great, but nitpicking an extra stop on the way home to Target? Sheesh.
