user1234,

Nah, Kai Winn is the Karen who complains to the store manager that all of the carts pull to the left.

user1234,

I’m pretty sure that’s just Sam Elliott without his mustache.

user1234,

The G, N, and U in GNU are silent.

I think Android/Linux is the other common variant.

user1234,

He’s got the ol’ prison pocket in his though.

user1234,

Looks like there is intelligent design by the flying spaghetti monster.

user1234,

What’s interesting is that they were both born in or very near the same year.

user1234,

Can I get your ICQ number?

user1234, (edited )

I had two, both 8 digits. Still remember them both. Seems like I was able to sign on with them until a few months ago, but it may have been a few years ago.

user1234,

Was actually able to log in with one of my old accounts today. Found an app called Mandarin IM on F-Droid that worked with it.

user1234,

Yep, Mandarin. Has a little orange slice as its icon.

user1234,

Quite possible. Doesn’t appear to be of Mandarin Chinese origin, which is often why apps use it in the name.

user1234,

Yep. Used to record all sorts of TV shows on my computer using them. Though they aren’t nearly as prevalent since Internet streaming has taken over. I doubt I could pick up more than 2 or 3 channels over-the-air where I live anymore.

user1234,

As many have said, that’s an IR receiver. That specific model commonly came with Hauppauge TV tuner cards.

user1234,

They may be expensive for what you get, but they’re built to last. Still using the TI-83 that I got in 1997 and it works as good as the day I got it.

user1234,

I always figured that if I went on and expedition to areas with big cats, I’d be sure to pack a laser pointer and a hand vacuum.

user1234,

Yeah. Most chaotic packages are pre built binaries. Saves you time, and usually not problematic, but has the potential to screw you in a big way. Kinda like opening anything in Outlook in Windows.

user1234,

I always thought the holes were there for OSHA lockout/tagout locks.
