[REPOST] Many years ago, I worked at a car dealership. The attached service garage was small and I was the only licensed mechanic....

Climate is fucked, animals continue to go extinct even more, our money will be worth nothing the coming years… What motivation do I even have to care to keep going? As a hypothetical, say it became easy to grab water from objects in space and then move it places that needed (Africa / the gulf). What would the end results be for the global climate over time? Would you just end up with a flooded earth? Would temperatures rise or fall as time goes on?
