I have installed Bitwarden through its AppImage, and added a .desktop file to run it easily (and also to use a themed icon). Unfortunately, each time an update comes out, I need to manually update the file since it points directly to the older version...
Thinking of trying to morph my Leap workstation into Tumbleweed (and potentially Slowroll once that project matures enough). I’ve seen that you can do it . I reckon I can rollback relatively easily via the BTRFS snapshots if it goes sideways, but just curious to see what others’ experience with doing so has been.
Long story short, I learned there is an XMMS release of a plugin I use in Winamp for music playback (mp3PRO). Sadly, I recoded most of my music to mp3PRO back in the day, and now I’m stuck using Winamp, even on Linux. I like the player, wouldn’t change it, but I wanted to switch to something native, like Audacious or Qmms....
Maybe the wrong place to ask, so sorry to the mods if thats the case....
As the title says. I am using the ByPass Paywall add-on and it used to work, but since some time it just doesn't. I've made sure the site I am trying to visit is listed in the list of sites, and I've also manually added it, but to no avail. Does anyone know any good alternatives to bypass paywalls, or some way of troubleshooting...
what if I, for example, had a job in Google and I liked Linux so much I install Ubuntu on my Chromebook, would that be illegal/send me to prison?? Or, if I had the job, would I be kicked?? I like Chromebooks because they are so smol and nice. But I don’t know if it’s legal to install a Linux distro on it. Thank you!!
edit: I realize there is Office web and it’s good but it has nowhere enough features. Also, do you guys think (Open, Libre, Only) office has as many features as Microsoft Excel?...

I have heard that there iptv services which are really private and don’t advertise openly and provide really great services. I don;t remember but i saw it here/reddit that they are available on private trackers’ forums. I am on Avistaz, bakabt, torrentleech and few others not worth mentioning. I would like to learn more...
