How are Lemmy federated servers handling cross platform posting, commenting and upvoting?
What are some good resources to learn and get an overview of how federation between servers is actually handled?...

I’d like to have a nice experience that works seamlessly with my phone’s os. Ever think that’ll be a reality? Anybody working on something?
If you do, then what exactly defines a soul in your view?
My first lemmy post. Hello World! What’s the best iPhone app thus far? Mastadon doesn’t know what to do with lemmy URLs heh…
My favourite part of Reddit were comments. Almost every time they were better than the post itself. Yeah quality was kinda low, but you could find some meaningfull discussion or useful information. On Lemmy every post in my feed has maximum 10 comments. Where can I find more?
Hi all, a shout-out for assistance. I’m considering hosting a Lemmy instance (assuming I can pass the wife test on costs) and I’m looking for some guidance on specs....

For the first time ever, I’m getting Reddit notifications, outside of when I get a dm or a comment/post reply from someone. 🧐 Hmm, I wonder if that’s just coincidence…...
Whether it was a cross country trip, a bike ride or on your commute to work, what is the creepiest thing you’ve seen while traveling?
Was there recently a kbin backend change? I haven’t been able to see kbin posts all week but they’re populating now.
I’ve used Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn in the past with mixed results. Where do you guys go if you’re job hunting?
And if that’s possible, why are servers needed at all? Can’t an app just create a server per user and run it on the users device?
Thanks for joining me today! I’m here at the Reddit corporate parking lot, spot 269 (nice!), and being assisted today by Victoria all by myself because friends only tie down your ambitions....
If it helps, her mom and I have been married a hair over a month.
I’m on Vlemmy using wefwef
