There seems to be some projects that allow indexing of discord. This should be encouraged more nextjs-forum.com is open sourced on GitHub.

Also stumbled on this the other day www.answeroverflow.com

mint_tamas,

That’s only microsopically better than just discord. A (shitty, but somehow popular) chat service is not documentation, even if it’s indexed.

Not too related, but I wonder how many sites/algorithms were written in a lazy way, making that “I’m not telling you where I am” circle centred perfectly around their address. So while it is designed to look like your address could be anywhere within the circle, I bet that with most of them you just have to put a pin into their exact geometric centre.

Not an uninteresting idea and potentially true but without researching it, just speculation.

According to Descartes I think therefore I am (and that’s all I know), but to be honest I’m not convinced…

That’s funny, that’s exactly the method I stored my cdRoms back in the day.

Most Linux distros include a web browser and if not you can always boot into another OS or use another computer to download one.

Or… use the package manager to download one?

If you build a linked list in C, and put the pointer to the next entry as the first element in your struct, then you only need a single variable (and two comparisons) to do sorted insertion into the list.

Blue_Morpho,

That’s too complicated for me to understand so here is my thing I know:

When using example code from the Internet, it’s important to read the comments at the top of the file before going to far into adapting it and then wondering why it isn’t working.

Hahaha ended up with different “Chromium” is that the joke? :D I don’t know if the collective understood but boy can I relate to searching the repo and getting way different stuff than I started looking for! XD

Looks great to me. Strawberry milkshake frosting sounds tasty.

steventhedev,

Around 20% of the kids asked for seconds, so not as popular as a plain chocolate box cake with chocolate ganache frosting, but I’m proud of it.

I’m honestly excited to try out different flavors for the frosting.
