They don't even want you to use the website I don't think. They've even done experiments where they blocked people from using the mobile website. The more they want me to use their app, the more I want to avoid Reddit all together.

Simple question: Will you go back to Reddit and other centralized social media platforms, if Reddit step back from the API changes? The benefits of Reddit are obvisiouly, it has million of users and even small communitys have thousands of users....
This question is especially for people who have joined in the last week. Have you used other fediverse platforms or is this your first time really using one? What do you think of it so far? Are you aware that you can comment on Lemmy posts with a Mastodon account?
I know the developers are working hard and I'm sure they'll be coming with Mlem updates. I hope to see a notification centre being added, as well as the posts being collapsed instead of full-length. Do you wish for an Apollo type of design, or similar?...

I just realised I am eligible for Ptptn first class loan waiver but one of the requirements stated that the application must be submitted within 12 months from the convocation date. As the Fediverse grows more and more, rules and regulations become more important. For example, is Lemmy GDPR complient? If not, are admins aware of the possible consequence? What does this mean for the growth of Lemmy?
So I moved from feddit.de to lemmy.world and wish to delete my account on Feddit but I have a few posts there that will be useful to others, will they get deleted with the account?
