No I dont’t actually.

Doesnotexist, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

Not once.

StankFlipper, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

Completely out and I had RIF for at least eleven years. They got rid of a part of me; I don’t want shit to do with the site anymore. I’d also be out of Facebook if it weren’t for messenger. I look to Lemmy for updates on the dumpster fire that is Reddit now.

p0ppe, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

Nope. A couple of clicks via Google, but that’s it.

IceGoddessEmma,

at least you still can, 90% of the time i get private communities, thanks admincraft

TomaTomaToma, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?
@TomaTomaToma@lemmy.ml avatar

Only if it is a google result. I still have sync app installed :(

jivandabeast,

Same here but for rif, had to finally uninstall it because it was getting frustrating.

But honestly lemmy content is really fire and I don’t really feel the need to look elsewhere, except for some niche communities. I’m thinking about opening a second private instance that just mirrors the few reddit communities i miss.

Chronophos, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

I still use it for Google searches. For the subreddits that aren’t private anymore, it’s still a good resource to get reviews from actual human beings. But I made use of Power Delete Suite to both edit and delete all my comments, and I deleted my accounts back in June.

raubarno, in What's your real-life superpower?

Analytical skills and working memory (RAM)

unknowing8343, in "Timed Mute" or equivalent for communities..?

This is not the community for asking these questions. Read the guidelines.

Feel free to report this stuff, too - it’ll get it on our radar faster.

indigomirage,

What’s the best practice for deleting a post? It was in error - just don’t know a way to delete it.

Indeed, it does not respect the guidelines

Kichae,

The guidelines, they be bein' ignarrrrrred

derf82, in I feel like /c/memes has taught us a valuable lesson today: Would it make sense to develop a feature to block a comm from our feed for a selectable unit of time (1 hour, 1 day, etc.)?

I unsubbed for the same reason. Some funny content, but it was the only content.

Maybe if they code something like a multireddit so you could read specific subs without subscribing.

CurlyWurlies4All, in In which game did you spend the most hours?
@CurlyWurlies4All@prxs.site avatar

Workers and Resources: Soviet Republic. 189 hours attempting to create a sustainable, green powered, communist utopia.

Myro, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

No. Haven’t touched it since they killed 3rd-party apps and don’t intend to (exception are Google search results, though I use Teddit as a frontend there.

shawn, in Be honest, do you still use reddit?

No.

XiELEd, in In which game did you spend the most hours?

Toram Online, 700+ hours. Not counting the time spent on the PC port though.

ellesper, in I feel like /c/memes has taught us a valuable lesson today: Would it make sense to develop a feature to block a comm from our feed for a selectable unit of time (1 hour, 1 day, etc.)?
@ellesper@lemmy.world avatar

I just don’t subscribe to those communities and that seems to work well enough. When I don’t want to see it, I sort by subscribed. If I’m in the mood for memes or shitposts, I sort by all.

I want Local, Subscribed, All and Curated

Curated should be one or more filter sets that can be set by instance admins or users. Instance Curated lists are available to all users, personal are, personal.

OprahsedCreature,

Oh, that could be useful

Also, my memory might need some work but was there talk about multis at some point?

manitcor,
@manitcor@lemmy.intai.tech avatar

ive heard people mention the idea but im not sure if anything is being worked on in the repo
