“You judge yourself by your intentions, but judge others by their actions”
This has helped me with my procrastination and helping to understand co-workers and people in general. Life gets busy and we always mean do get to things, but it’s really on what we actually do and complete that is real.
A teacher of mine said to the class: “You may not like studying for now, but you will regret lacking education for the rest of your life”
So basically trade in half of your childhood to have a better time for most of the rest of your life (yeah work may suck, but with better education you can more easily find something you don’t hate)
Ernest scared stupid. That troll going around at night, sneaking into kids rooms and turning them into wooden figurines was terrifying to my kid brain.
They could make the battery last 5+ years before degradation if they made the phones a bit thicker to get the same battery life with lithium iron phosphate cells instead of lithium ion cells. They also don’t turn into spicy pillows or catch fire really too if that means anything to you.
I really don’t understand the obsession with having the thinnest possible phone but also selling $2,000 folding phones that are thick as hell.
Selling the thinnest phone, but ship it with a silicone case because the thin-ness makes it too fragile. And also one bit of the phone will just be thicker anyway.
It seems almost like parody. Phones are literally too thin for their own components. If anybody knows of a decent line of phones that aren’t overly skinny, please let me know for when I need a new phone.
Alan Watts contextualizes our daily lives as the outer, “fine spray” at the edge of the big bang --still exploding. Planets “people-ing” and your daily schedule, relationships, accuisition of goods, etc. is just the complex late stage of the big bang explosion. The explosion is chaos but as time goes by order slips in and creates “complexity”. This is all still an explosion.
Legitimately almost every genre, as long as I’m the mood. Lately tho I’ve mostly been listening to The Fall of Troy, Blink-182, Dance Gavin Dance, This Town Needs Guns, and good ole Pro Era artists like Capital Steez and Joey Bada$$.
