It can make a decent grilled cheese, but I was going to say burger.

IMO, it’s kind of a mid-tier general cheese: You can use it for lots of stuff, whether it’s better is a matter of personal taste.

@65gmexl3 Yep they all talk ActivityPub! Friendica is one of the few that also supports Diaspora protocol so I can talk to people there too.

@65gmexl3 Oh and about your other question: it looks like you posted 2 days ago but I received it 13 hours ago at my server, so a little delay. Mainly the nature of working with federated servers is that things aren't always instantaneous.

@65gmexl3 Looks like sending from my server was pretty quick, but I'm running a single user node on a probably overpowered server, haha. Could be something with Lemmy or just the amount of tasks your lemmy server is experiencing.

Same here but for rif, had to finally uninstall it because it was getting frustrating.

But honestly lemmy content is really fire and I don’t really feel the need to look elsewhere, except for some niche communities. I’m thinking about opening a second private instance that just mirrors the few reddit communities i miss.

virtueless, in Those who tried Linux and went back to Windows, what caused you to go back to Windows?

My OS kept stalling/crashing on boot-up a few months into using it and I could not figure out why or how to fix it. Couldn’t log in or input any commands into the terminal to try out anything so I just gave up.

Luckily my important data was backed up and I had Windows on another drive. I thought the drive might have failed, but it hasn’t had any issues since on Windows. I’d love to return to Linux in the future but I think that experience wil haunt me for a while.

No. I went cold turkey in mid-June. I logged back in last week to use Power Delete Suite to automatically edit every post and comment I ever made to this and then deleted my account.

I’ll still use Reddit read-only and with cookies blocked if I stumble upon (ahahaha) it through a search or something.

Eve online probably well over 15k hours logged actual playtime closer to 10k lots of idle time. Still the most fun I've had in a game and has helped me be more comfortable talking to strangers and lead people IRL

Only for one community and only occasionally (like once every 3 days or so, I check the news, learn new stuff and move on). Oh, and today I was there to request all my data.

I’ve got nearly 800 hours into Cyberpunk2077.
It’ll probably be my goto game until its sequel comes put in a decade or so.

In September the game is being vastly reworked. Lots of the mechanics are being changed. The skill trees are being completely re-conceived. This will likely be it’s final form.

If you get it now and finish a play through by then, sure it’ll be worth it.
