I had a great old typewriter I’d found at a yard sale decades ago and which was purely decorative, but my absolute favorite use for it was when I gave it to an old friend who had just helped me move apartments. That person was really happy to have it, and being able to gift it with gratitude fulfilled me far more than owning the thing ever had.
Unknown to OP, it has now changed 11 hands over the years. Also unknown to OP, it is coming back to them as this year’s Christmas present. OP is going to be very happy about it.
I’m more a fan of cutting up magazines myself. It’s not often you get an excuse for some crafts when you’re busy kidnapping heirs and taunting detectives.
As for the US and Europe, things are too interconnected for that to work. That said, the Internet as a whole is more centralized than you might expect from its history as a network that was supposed to be nuclear war proof.
I just use my notes app and the letter “x” Two denote whether that thing has been paid already. I use a method called the Dave Ramsey every dollar method where every dollar has a purpose and you budget in such a way that absolutely every single dollar you get has a job. So, I get paid, and then my bank account is nearly empty two days later, but every dollar has done its job. I know that there are unexpected expenses, so a few dollars are miscellaneous, and their job is just to cover the $5 subscription that comes out quarterly, I forgot, etc.
I write all my expenses and incomes down onto app called Wallet by budget bakers. I don’t set any monthly budgets or anything however, because I find that keeping track alone already makes me much more mindful consumer. I already have records of my finances for almost 3 years so it’s pretty interesting to get to monitor my spending across a long timeframe.
There are some subreddits I don’t want to just lose and I don’t expect them to grow super fast here. I’m glad for these bots, they give me the choice u/spez is trying to steal from me.
Tarantino is trash and Ruins movies that should be good with weird edginess. Django unchained would be 10/10 with someone else as director. I never saw a good movie from him. I DK how death proof scores as high as it did. I gave that a 2/20. what a waste or kurt Russell and other good actors.
This is basically exactly what I say any time someone asks me this question. I just don’t get the love for Tarantino. I feel like the previews for his work always disguise how uncomfortable the film is actually going to be to watch when I get there.
