Basically indestructible soles and insoles in terms of wear and tear, and an indestructible in general toe cap. Soft enough insoles to cushion, but firm enough to support. Light enough to use everywhere without feeling like I’m walking on King Kai’s planet. Self-tightening laces and mouth. GPS tracking in case I can’t find them or someone’s stolen them.
For me it’s typically something I can enjoy absent mindedly.
It could be an element of a game I can enjoy without thinking like a solid soundtrack or visuals but not feeling like “losing” is a lose is another thing.
I like being able to shut my brain off and that typically means a lack of story but still having some form of progression.
I don’t think technical innovations relating to realism and multiplayer are essential. One of my favorite games is Hotline Miami which features pixel graphics and while shooters like Call of Duty do have a satisfying gameplay loop I feel like I hit a wall with progression eventually.
Multiplayer and VR games can also require some extra setup which is a hurdle for a game being addictive to me.

Take whatever job will pay the most while demanding the least amount of time spent on the job. It doesn't matter of a job pays a quarter million and lets you work on trendy tech if you're on the job 80 hours a week; that's just you getting fucked in the ass. If you're working 40 hours a week or less (ideally much less) you can do passion projects on your own time.
Don't look for friendship, community, or emotional fulfillment on the job. If you find it anyway, it's a trap. Do the job, get paid, and GTFO. Be a mercenary, not a company man.
I know why my parents had me cut. It was because my father had been cut, and that's just what was done at the time. It's not a good enough reason for me, and if I had had sons I would not have allowed them to be cut in turn. My children are not my property.
